Kevin L Well that's about 90-some minutes I'd like to get back. Not sure how about 90% of critics gave this a positive review; some of them glowing. Were they on Ecstasy, too, when they saw it? "Pulp Fiction"? This wasn't even "Son of Son of Daughter-in-Law of Pulp Fiction". It's as if the writer and director were best buds, watched some 'one crazy night' 80's flicks and saw "Pulp Fiction" 25 times and thought, "Hey, we can do that". Well, buds...wrong! I love Sarah Polley, and she's fine. Holmes is ok. Jay Rohr is cardboard, as always. Bexton is bad, and somehow actual Brit Askew has a horribly fake sounding British accent. Both very annoying characters, too. It's not all bad, though. There are some very attractive women, a couple quite well 'established'. The score is a good fit for the movie. And the pacing is pretty brisk. But the cliched chase down by the Vegas strip club guys is lame. And the ending is dumb. Are we to believe that Manny is still gonna be there in the same hiding place after days, maybe a week plus, and still alive? 2.5 stars Rated 2.5/5 Stars •  Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/25 Full Review Jonathan K The nonlinear storytelling, jumping between characters’ perspectives, is a fun ride that keeps things interesting. It’s got that perfect late-90s vibe that’ll hit you right in the nostalgia if you grew up in that era, but as much as it tries to keep you on your toes, the multiple storylines don’t always land with the impact they’re going for. Some of the characters feel a little undercooked, and by the end, you’re left wondering if you just watched a wild, but ultimately forgettable, rollercoaster. That said, Go is still a good time for what it is -- a fun, unpredictable blaze through one crazy night. If you're in the mood for some frantic '90s energy and don't mind a bit of chaotic storytelling, it’s definitely worth the time. But it probably won't leave a lasting mark. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/06/24 Full Review Audience Member Doug Liman, director of 'Swingers' delivers another late 90's flick with a cast of young and upcoming talents centering on 3 different perspectives of a drug deal gone awry it's like 'Run Lola Run' and 'Pulp Fiction' with that bizarre and trippy narrative along with strange editing techniques Sarah Polley, Timothy Olyphant, Taye Diggs, Breckin Meyer, Scott Wolf, Katie Holmes, and William Fichtner are all thrown into the mix Ronna, Simon, and Adam all have their little adventures full of crazy antics from going to Vegas to unpaid debts to hit-and-runs and so forth even something as simple as dealing under the table creates the biggest trips I actually found this movie to be quite funny and adventurous despite the odd narrative and LSD filmmaking Liman manages to make this outing more than just a typical stoner comedy and as a non-traditional teen flick the real fun begins late at night for most of us so what's the worst that could happen?
