Beyond the Cinerama Dome

The pitch-perfect casting of the members of Mystery Inc. is what makes Scooby-Doo compulsively rewatchable. The plot is serviceable, and most adults will be able to unmask the villain long before the Mystery Inc. team does, but that doesn’t matter.

The fact that this movie managed spawn a sequel from its plotless, useless, and unnecessary corpse is a miracle comparable to the resurrection of Lazurus. Nice try but we didn’t need a live action version.

Not really that good. The CGI was just bad, it was just wacky. Scooby looked extremely cartoonish. I just can't like this live action. They just should of made it a cartoon Scooby-Doo movie.

Scooby-Doo is the best live action film I've ever seen. No film can compare. Eat your heart out Scorsese, Lynch and Kubrick. You could only dream of making a film as good as this. The casting is perfect, they embody the cartoonish personalities and yet somehow become so fully realised, you'd not blink an eye if you met them in the street. The CGI, despite being of it's time Holds Up in a way than many modern films that use this technology DO NOT (despite it having been refined since the release of this film) The story is fabulous, enthralling, truly SCOOBY DOO. I'll never forgive the critics for panning this film at release. I can only apologise to the creators, cast and crew of this film that I was a mere 6 years old when this film was released, and therefore unable to articulate my unadulterated adoration and joy that this film has brought to me time and time again.
