Is Jason in the swamp. This movie is not scary and the camera work really terrible quality and horrible editing and awful vfx.

Sh*tty teen slasher flick that has some voodoo elements thrown in, a scary looking redneck tow truck driver is killed by a bunch of crappy CGI snakes and comes back to life as a homicidal maniac then goes after a group of teens hold up in a magically warded house, the heroine is this boring blonde chick named Eden (Agnes Bruckner) who wears tight clothes, rides a bike and has a dead dad, there's not much to the ending, the final girl mows the monster down with his truck, gets out and runs off into the woods then two snakes slither out of his body, one of them attacks the camera and that's it.

Predictable yarn from our friends at Dimension, the makers of the Scream franchise, about a undead killer killing off a group of teens in the bayous of Louisiana. Setting aside, it's not at all original, and the most hilarious aspect of this is that all of the actors here sound more L.A. then LA.

Gory, fun, and creative. To mention the positives.

It's a paint-by-numbers slasher flick with a voodoo in the Bayou gimmick. As such, it's still pretty fun if you're into these kinds of flicks. Nothing really noteworthy, but it hits all the notes well enough. Except for the final girl, she was awful.

Horrible characters, villain sucked, story and origin sucked as well. Venpm and his voice were awesome

I thought it was amazing. I've already seen it twice and will probably watch it again soon.

It was a fantastic movie.....all marvel overs will like ie... the reviews II read were soooo discouraging...that we almost didn't see it...0b0ut that tells m0e more a0nd m0ore j0udge for yourself...do not let th0e revi0ews always deci0de...its a g0uide...th0ere migfh0t be a motivation t0hat wedon0t kn0ow why it got bad reviews... I don't get i0t... b0ut i0t was really good....t0e story was like taking a villain to a hero was a treat..there will be more and cannot wait... please see it ....It really is good,..I hate gross.....and I loved it... it was done well

I’ll watch it again in a few years but for now this movie gets a 2/5.

Typical 2000s horror movie. This one is a little more gory then usual, as well as better then most. I would recommend it if you like slashers.

I've seen better film on teeth

A slasher movie with a supernatural bent. Surprisingly, I found myself liking it. The acting was decent enough, without some of the stupidity shown by characters in other slasher movies. Not great by any means, but just good enough you might enjoy it.

Not original, but still effective. There's always room for another briskly paced, proudly trashy, old school slasher. Intermittently cheesy, 'Venom' also contains solidly crafted scares.

This one is actually so bad its annoying. What do you do when you see a deranged killer walking towards you with an axe in his hand? Run? Scream? No, first you stand around for about 10 seconds, looking at him with a stupid grin on your face while he keeps coming closer. Then, when he is about 5 inches away from you, then you react, only to have the axe split your scull in half! I mean, that's only logic, right?
