Brilliantly carried over from fact to entertainment. Truly great directing, cinematography and a splendid cast that excels in character. Peña fits this role like a glove, sometimes he even looks, walks and talks like José Hernández. Heartwarming and also eye - opening, in a sense. Really easy to watch and fall in love with. Highly recommended

This the most inspirational story I've seen. This guy surmounted impossible odds with support of his family. The movie is very well done and acting is excellent. There's a few appearance of Jose himself on the launch pad doing a fist bump with the actor playing Jose.
