Deborah Ross The Spectator Try as I might, and I did try, I just could not find it interesting or affecting, in any way. Sep 5, 2018 Full Review Candice Frederick Reel Talk Online The film is an overly long attempt for its lead character to create the picturebook life of his dreams. Rated: C- Sep 6, 2017 Full Review Francesca Steele Independent (UK) [About Time] is less a rom com than a family drama and though it loses its way in the middle, it is when Curtis allows these familial ties to shine that the film comes into its own. Aug 11, 2017 Full Review Fico Cangiano CineXpress Podcast A sweet and charming tale of love, changes and regret, that will make you laugh, cry and most of all, think. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 28, 2025 Full Review JD Duran InSession Film Sure, some of it is stereotypical but the second half of the film was devastating. The script turns from romantic comedy to a father-son relationship that is charming, yet heartbreaking at the same time. Aug 12, 2024 Full Review Iván Kazi EscribiendoCine Despite its uneven presentation, the film's message is consistent and has to do with the human condition and the consistencies in relationships that either unite or distance people. Affection, loyalty, Trust. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 7/10 Apr 6, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

joe d I am not a huge fan of Richard Curtis films but for me this is his best one. The lead actors are very likeable which for me is often important if I am going to engage in a movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/19/25 Full Review Mason M I really loved this motion picture. I'm a big fan of Richard Curtis and this is definitely his best and most mature film to date. I think what really made this film great was how underplayed it was, it's an epic story, but it's never presented as epic or grandiose, it's just portrayed at what it is. Domhnall Gleeson is very charming as the lead. And Rachel McAdams (who I'm not usually a big fan of) was the perfect love interest in this film, and felt very believable as someone you could fall in love with. This film definitely has its flaws, but it had such an emotional effect on me and it creates such a magical atmosphere that it was impossible for me not to love it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/15/25 Full Review H. R I do not like rom-cons I do not like them a lot. I did love the notion of second chances via time travel. It’s about regrets and if only. Few films keep me thinking about the people populating them but this one did. An almost perfect film. I suspect that reviews by ‘critics’ say more about the critic than about the film. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review Audience Member One of the best love story movie i have ever seen... perfect 💖 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/25 Full Review Alya N Beautiful plot, beautiful story.
