Laughed a lot after many days. Rating: 8.4/10

Typical teenage coming of age, I see why it's a classic. I thought the premise was a bit much and cheesy, but the execution was light hearted enough and the characters were likeable enough. The final "lessons" the characters realize are good ones (spoiler: that we don't need to give in to the pressure, that things don't have to be perfect, that your time spent is important so choose wisely how you spend/who you spend with) and I think are well wrapped up in this teenage rom-com. I like the weight that the female characters bring to the storylines.

The perfect 90’s movie with an incredible soundtrack!

American Pie is certainly a very good sex comedy of all time on par with "The Girl Next Door", while i'm personally not a fan of the sequels which came out much later (with the exception of "American Pie 2" & maybe "American Wedding") this movie take the sexiness to a whole new level.

Loved the film and watched it atleast 20 times. Critics usually that rate films 10+ years later don't understand the nostalgia and films relate to certain aspects of peoples lives good or bad. Alot of what is acceptable now (if anything).we like films that actually push boundaries and love those times for it instead of the stuff "if feel offended" or "outdated" ratings

A film which was highly rated in the 2000's, yet is now downvoted, quelle surprise. The permanently offended, are so precious that they can't see it as a pastiche of the era....Jesus wept, the film is hilarious. Relax people, you may actually enjoy your short life.

A typical comedy for teenagers in the late 90s/early 2000s. Nothing really outstanding happened and kinda forgettable.
