what a great movie-i fell in love with Arthur and i love how affected so many lives

not a fan of mr. wahlberg but this is good old fashioned adventure fun with a very cute dog. 🥰

I don’t like creating accounts anywhere but after watching this lovely heartfelt movie, I had to leave a review. In a time when so many movies are about some political statement, filled with horror, explicit violence, sad endings or just plain weird, it is refreshing to be entertained and yet emotionally involved in the outcome. A great family movie! Loved it!!!

Oh man does this made me cry. Loved the true story behind this and it happened in my country where Arthur was our little hero. I understand why they couldn´t film in Ecuador but they should mention the story took place there. Wahlberg as always solid, the pooch stole the show.

Beautiful cinematography and location, riveting action that feels real, nuanced acting, clever messaging...and a dog that pulls every emotional cord. Brilliant movie. Not my usual cuppa, but this was exceptional.

This is like a hymn for those who adopt stray dogs. Watched this film the same day I brought a stray dog from Puerto Rico (Dominican Republic neighbor) and brought it to the USA. The movie resonated so much with my experience. Saving a dog takes sacrifice, time and money. You could lose your edge in your career by saving a stray dog, like the team in the movie that lost first place for saving the dog. But you gain so much more. The movie made me laugh, get suspense and cry. I can't believe Marc finally made a good movie. I think there was some parallels between his movie career and Michael in the film. I love the sceneries in the film. The movie motivates to do sports adventures like this, and watch the sport that the movie is portraying. I don't mind watching this movie again :)

A feel good movie, good story line. Many critics definitely got this wrong.

I love true movies, and read about the true story before I watched the movie. Didn't really mind the facts they changed, but was disappointed that they didn't really get into the bond between the dog and the team (Mark Wahlberg character). They added some typical (unneccesary) drama/action, but that's ok. Just wish to have seen more of the dog and the interraction between him and the team. ....I saw it, but didn't really feel it. The film was a bit too much drama, and not a lot of fun/adventure/excitement/love. But still glad I watched it.

Brilliant feel good family movie amazing that it is based on a true story

Arthur the King is such a passionate and interesting story as it certainly quite an interesting story to learn about.

The movie is about an athlete who got unexpected help from a dog. A dog that also experienced hardships of life. Two broken beings becoming 1 and shows what life is really about. Many hidden messages to pick out from this movie. A good family movie for people who like some more positivity in live.

A good movie from start to finish!

Bellissima storia vera che per giunta risulta essere molto cinematografica. Una buona sceneggiatura paga solamente una prima parte decisamente forzata negli aspetti e nei giochi di forza familiari. Una volta eliminati questi due problemi, che fortunatamente durano pochi minuti, la trama si concentra su temi molto più adrenalinici e li affronta per la maggior parte del tempo con buona competenza tecnica e con la giusta velocità. Ben rappresentata la gara con le sue difficoltà fisiche, senza perdere troppo tempo nei dialoghi. Non particolarmente sviluppati i personaggi e questo risulta essere un peccato per i tanti temi appena accennati. Il finale è toccante il giusto e soprattutto la serie di fotografie danno una bella rappresentazione della vera storia di base al racconto.

A good family movie. Some of the technical racing details were a little lacking, and guilty of some melodrama, but the heart of the storytelling was in the right place.
