At War Reviews
What is the point of this movie? If you like to watch a labor union squabble with management about a plant closing then this is the movie for you! And then nothing happens. For 2 hours you can watch the workers argue with management, politicians and themselves. There is no reason for this film to exist. The entire story is told in the first 5 minutes. Then it is just numbing repetition. Plant closing, workers angry, repeat, repeat, repeat. What a waste of film.
Our 3 year old loved it! And so did Mommy n Daddy! Good Job Disney!
well directed, well played, good conflicts, ending promotes insane value system and stupidity. the plot couldve made it more plausible for it to happen.. it did the opposite. its one thing to make a person without a family, with alcohool problems etc selfsacrifice for a cause..
Un film clairement d'actualità (C) qui mà (C)rite amplement son visionnement, En Guerre frappe là où il faut et s'il ne changera peut-être pas le monde, permet de mieux le comprendre.
Finally a movie that shows what it is to fight for jobs (lifes) in a world that cares only about money and enriching the already rich
Very emotional movie, showing how the workers, the employers and the State relates to each other in our liquid modernity (as the philosopher and sociologist Zygmunt Bauman call it). Industries are free to move to "cheaper countries", workers have no guarantees, and the State can't do any better than trying to use the force over the workers to impose "the peace" (since going against the industry/capital could make the situation even worse).
