This sequel to the 2002 film returns to the Chicago barbershop owned by Calvin Palmer Jr. (Ice Cube). His employees -- Isaac (Troy Garity), Terri (Eve), Ricky (Michael Ealy), Dinka (Leonard Earl Howze) and Kenard -- have their own personal and workplace problems, and a new barbershop called Nappy Cutz has moved in across the street. As Calvin tries to change the character of his business, Nappy Cutz and gentrification become a threat to the surrounding community.

Although fun, the sequel suffers a lot in the long run. It follows a similar formula and plot as the first, with less jokes and more emphasis on drama. I think that has something to do with a switch in directors. Tim Story did not return for the sequel. Instead, Kevin Rodney Sullivan stepped in. He's not a bad director, but his style and approach are much different than Tim Story's.

A versão testosterona do “Salão do Barulho” pouco me agradou, mas interessante saber que desse 2 que com a participação de Queen Latifah como Gina Norris, estrelou seu spin-off, Beauty Shop no ano seguinte, bem mais agradável, provavelmente por indicação... Um filme longo, com poucas piadas engraçadinhas, o teor critico mais valido que o cômico, principalmente o trecho que retrata o assassinato de Martin Luther King Jr. E o final dramático e emocionante sobre a venda da barbearia… Só…

Filme filme legal pra caralho, o roteiro é legal, o filme mostra coisas engraçadas dentro e fora da barbearia, coisas engraçadas que melhoram filme e agora com a adição do salão de beleza da gina, e com mais coisas um pouco dramáticas que melhoram o filme, o elenco do filme é excelente e cada personagem ajuda a melhorar o filme que já é bom, o filme tem cenas boas como a cena De insultos da gina vs eddy, e também a cena que os barbeiros da barbearia do Calvin entram na barbearia da concorrência, e outras cenas bacanas com tudo isso, eu recomendo muito esse filme, vale muito a pena assistir.
