Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Cheesy fun with the usual quotient of Corman cheesecake. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 10, 2024 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com ...there's a degree of knowing wit in the dialogue that makes Battle Beyond the Stars a guilty pleasure... Rated: 3/5 Sep 19, 2021 Full Review R.L. Shaffer IGN DVD An enjoyably inventive low-budget B-movie filled with action and interesting characters. Rated: 8/10 Jan 29, 2012 Full Review Sean Axmaker Turner Classic Movies Online John Sayles manages to work some offbeat science-fiction ideas around the edges of an otherwise derivative plot... Aug 3, 2011 Full Review Brian Orndorf BrianOrndorf.com Happy to distract the viewer with chase sequences and extended invasion showdowns, also using Danning's sex bomb appeal to keep attention away from the budgetary limitations. Why pay for explosions when there's spandex? Rated: B- Jun 20, 2011 Full Review Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com Rated: 2/5 Oct 1, 2005 Full Review Read all reviews

Michael Antony A Mikey’s Movie Review: Battle Beyond The Stars (1980) A right of passage for most (especially) boys growing up post Star Wars, BBTS is filled with some great lines and a host of memorable, quirky characters. George Peppard (The A-Team) and Robert Vaughn (Man From U.N.C.L.E) bring the cool, charm and class, while Sybil Danning heaves her mighty bosom! Some future behind-the-camera stars got their big break too - James Horner (Titanic) scored the film, John Sayles (The Secret Of Roan Inish) wrote the script and James Cameron (The Terminator) worked his magic on the cheap and cheerful FX. It was Corman’s most expensive feature costing $2 million, but earned $11 million at the Box Office… I was 9 years old when this came out and I fondly remember seeing this many times, in the cinema as well as on 온라인카지노추천… after 45 years it still retains its creaky, campy, naïve charm🤩 Mikey’s Rating: 3/5* or 5/5* (depending on alcohol level😅👌) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/18/25 Full Review Cees T Star Wars / Seven Samurai ripoff. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/10/25 Full Review Samuel G A fairly memorable, decent Corman effort. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/16/25 Full Review Garrett B Didn’t like it at all. Underdeveloped characters, unoriginal plot, tacky visual effects and no sense of joy at all Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/25 Full Review Chuck M I’m 40 minutes in and I don’t know how anybody made it through this ridiculous Star Wars knock off. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/20/24 Full Review Chris O One of the best B-movies of all time! Go in with low expectations and you won't be disappointed. If you liked Flash Gordon (1980), I think this has a similar over the top vibe. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/13/24 Full Review Read all reviews
