I watched Beverly Hills Cop with high expectations. I was let down. I thought it was gonna be pretty funny since one of the movie’s genres is comedy, but I didn’t find it very humorous. Overall it was a great movie though, worth a watch. Was it the best movie ever though? Absolutely not. But I still heavily recommend the movie. I will definitely be watching the other movies!

This is a hip and happening buddy cop story if ever there was one. Axel Foley is an awesome character whose commitment to the law is unquestionable, even if his methods aren't standard police procedure. The way he initially clashes with uptight cops but eventually comes to trust and work with them, creates a great dynamic. The criminal enterprise is cold and dastardly, providing the perfect foil to Axel's free-spirited attitude.

In this action, comedy, Eddie Murphy plays a cop from Detroit Axel Foley, where his friend was recently killed and he goes on a mission to find who the killer is. This has a great 80's soundtrack that really gives a great setting through the movie. Eddie Murphy is absolutely hilarious in this movie, providing a lot of laughs and chuckles. There some great action scenes as well, with a great car chase at the start and some gunfights throughout. Overall, it's a fun film that is a must see if you love the 80's.

A very funny and witty action comedy with some top-notch car chase and shoot-em-up action scenes, most notably the opening truck chase scene and the final shootout at the Beverly Hills Mansion. The main theme is iconic and catchy as hell. The rest of the soundtrack is also catchy and enjoyable dated with its 80's synthesizer music. Eddie Murphy is great in this! He's so young and energetic with good comedic timing and improv skills. He's very entertaining and really carries the movie. There's also some good subtle commentary on racial profiling within the police force, and an intruding & tense mystery on the murder of Eddie Murphy's friend. It's a solid action comedy and I can see why it launched Eddie Murphy's career into stardom.

Filme legal pra caramba, o roteiro é legal, eddie Murphy fou excelente como axel foley e também muito engraçado, gostei também da música axel f do Faltermeyer que é a música característica do axel foley, o começo foi muito bom, com a cena de ação do caminhão passando na rua e acertando os carros na rua, enquanto axel estava dentro do caminhão, axel foley também é muito engraçado no filme, ele ainda disse que pediu uma pizza na cadeia, e também faz uma cara engraçada e também dá um risada exagerada de propósito, depois mais para frente axel foley invadiu a casa do vilão victor matando seus capangas e depois matou o victor e teve a ajuda do tenente da cidade de beverly hills, com tudo isso, eu recomendo muito esse filme vale a pena assistir.

This movie is really good.The main theme is still stuck in my head after almost a decade since I last watched it.Eddie Murphy's jokes in this movie are really smart,my favourite being the bananas in the tailpipe.

Eddie Murphy is in the best role of his career. When a Detroit cop takes over Beverly Hill to revenge the death of his childhood friend no one is safe!! Great story, with lots of action and music that will stay in your mind for a long time. A movie that you can watch again and again!!!
