This hockey documentary was really good. The entire crew did an excellent job on bringing the story of black players in the game of hockey and the racism they've faced over the years. It was shocking to hear about the racism these guys face often. It's unacceptable and needs to be fixed immediately. I'm a hockey fan myself and no matter what a player looks like they deserve to play in the NHL or in any league at any level. If you haven't seen this documentary yet, check it out sometime. It's worth watching and it'll show that things need to change for the better for everyone.

This was a very illuminating film about the world of hockey and it's mistreatment of black and brown people who want to play that sport. The story of the long history of black and brown people in Canada and what was forced on these people who just wanted to play a sport is really sad and disturbing. If anyone thinks that racism has gone away please educate yourself and watch this film.

Great history about the Colored Hockey League which has been largely forgotten. Also, focuses on the racism in the hockey industry and what black hockey players (including children) must unfortunately deal with.

This is an important story that sadly (but not surprisingly) no one seems to be watching. I've loved hockey since I was 6 and it's really heartbreaking seeing how little progress has been made towards inclusivity in over 100 years. It hurts even more watching this a few months after a few bigots made the NHL cave and get rid of the Pride jerseys considering in 2023 the NHL has still not had an openly gay player on the ice and has it's first player under contract who will probably face a mountain of hate if he ever actually gets to play. It's really heartbreaking to see how much hate and bigotry is still in the world but specifically in a sport I've loved most of my life.

About racism but painfully boring! Some movies don't feel like a documentary; This one felt like 2!

I really enjoyed this movie as a hockey fan. I think it is long overdue to have a mainstream conversation about the lack of racial diversity in hockey and this film does a great job at exploring and analyzing the topic.

Black Ice is an informative, overall well executed, and important documentary that does it's job of shining light on the darkness that looms over hockey players in Canada as well as in the U.S. Men, women, boys, and girls who only want to compete in the sport they love but face cruelty.

Great movie. Where is Grant Furhs take on this film.

Eye opening to the pain, but proud of the efforts to correct it and acknowledge the history.

It told the history of Canadian Black hockey. Very interesting hockey, did not know this! Watch in your free time.
