Jason M A well-crafted independent film full of whimsy and joy. I would recommend this to folks who enjoyed the humor from Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, combined with the quest from Moby Dick. In this film, the white whale is the titular and legendary weather pattern, a bolt from the blue. Kevin Michael Martin and Page Tudyk Gomez have good screen chemistry, while the park rangers SHINE as roadblocks foiling the main characters' every move. The way movies in the past were grounded and extremely funny at the same time. I love films like this and miss the 90s feel. It is very well written and acted. Production value is epic. The Cinematography is great. As well as the soundtrack. I was lucky to catch this on a big screen. You will not be disappointed with renting this film. No spoilers in the review so you just have to go watch this Sci-Fi on your own and trust you will be in for a happy surprise. The movie trailer also does a great job capturing the films essence without ruining the film.
