Brian and Charles Reviews
I absolutely loved Brian and Charles! quirky, funny, heartwarming film.
They tried something new. I will give four stars to that all day long.
It had its charms. But it was kind of slow and self-consciously quirky.
Precious and wholesome. A must watch.
Delightful and honest and touching
Quirky in a good way. Funny and enjoyable. It is what it is and that it is good enough.
Interesting story of a lonely man in a small town in Wales. Fantastical plot. Happy ending.
This movie was a delightful story about the human desire for companionship filmed from a unique perspective. It was refreshing to watch a movie that was thoughtful, meaningful, and hopeful.
In a field of endless sequels and remakes, it is refreshing to view an original heartfelt film…even when one of the characters has the body of a washing machine.
Heart warming and quirky, Maybe a little too quirky, lovely cast, worth a watch.
It was a very good story and creative movie!
Entertaining enough. Just suspend your unbelief and it'll be ok.
Endearing odd couple buddy comedy.
This is one of the most creatively funny movies I've ever seen!
Quirky and fun movie. We really enjoyed it, so glad we happened upon it showing.
I was expecting more humor from based on the trailer but it's very heartwarming story and the characters are really delightfully awkward. The story is pretty cookie cutter though.
Such a charming film! All the characters, including Charles, were so well done.
Brian and Charles was a cute, enjoyable movie. The characters were quaint and likeable. The robot was clever and silly, funny and fun-loving. I had a good time watching it.
Started a little slow but overall I loved it
The movie starts out slow for at least the first 10 minutes. Brian, who makes quirky things out of junk. He winds up making an AI robot who calls himself Charles. Charles talks and learns about things around him. Charles dances, acting as if he was a petulant child. My favorite line by Charles is when he tells Brian that he's boring and the place is boring. Through Charles, Brian finds love. With Brian finding love, he is able to let Charles go and let him go on his adventure.
