Buffy the Vampire Slayer Reviews
Buffy’s supernatural coming-of-age story could have benefited from better direction and plot development.
What a delightful little dark comedy. I love the cast and story. Tim Treakle
Its light and fluffy. I thought it was fine to pass the time. I never watched the 온라인카지노추천 show, so don't have that influence.
Bad plot worse acting.
To be honest, its rubbish, but not because of the actors. It's just that no tension is built up through clever camera work and there is hardly any music. It's not scary at all, and merrick's death is the most underwhelming death scene I've ever seen, ever. It sucked. I enjoyed it though. Kristy Swanson is damn attractive. I blame the producers. Good cast though.
Fun film. Totally a goof, with some silly acting and over the top camp.
It’s campy fun. Some of these critics take it seriously so they can’t see the brilliance of it. Just do your jobs!
I enjoyed the movie very entertaining and really first time i see paul reubens [peewee herman] playing a bad guy.
Watching it now after after so year...this movie is a staple in my childhood. It's absolutely classic. Imo it was great in 92 and it's great now
I agree with critics but overall it's a good feel great feel film with Buffy nd others performance of plot nd writing is better it will a great funny nd bit thrill film of all time Anyway I love Buffy absolutely awesome magnificent charming Swanson great storing acting manage the charm 🥰👌👏♥️😃😍💫
A bit of fun if you enjoy the Buffy series. I decided to watch this because I have been watching the series . There's some halarious moments, like the funny parody vampire death scene, you will know what it is when you see it. We rewound it several times and had a good laugh. Tip, keep watching to the end of the credits!
LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 26 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The tv show is one of my favorite shows of all-time but this is also one of my favorite movies of all-time! I loved it when I was a kid and rented it all the time, and I've watched it recently and over the years and it holds up! Lots of funny dialogue, the cast it great -- this movie is so underrated! It actually took me a while to get used to Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy because I loved Kristy Swanson's Buffy so much -- she was different but still badass. Anyway this movie brings back so many amazing memories for me, I'll always love it.
Absolute classic movie with a wonderful performance by Luke Perry.
If I had watched the movie before the series, I probably wouldn't have looked at the show's face. If you haven't seen Buffy before, stay away from the movie. Or watch the movie knowing it's a B-Horror unrelated to the show. Because the series is a much more serious production than the movie with its successful techniques compared to its period. The movie may have inspired the Scary Movie series. I wouldn't be surprised if it is true.
I'm sure when the title Buffy: The Vampire Slayer is mentioned the first thought is about the 온라인카지노추천 show starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and not the movie set during the era of the valley girl... It's delightfully cheesy and didn't get much praise, so it's understandable if you've never even heard about it. But despite its cheesiness, there's an all-star cast who despite the content, give rather good performances. Personally, this is my Buffy...
It was good and entertaining for what it was
There are blatantly bad movies I've seen with obvious bad parts that are still better than this. The only good things in the movie were the scenes with the cheerleaders doing the dances with the pom Poms which I would've loved if that was the whole movie instead, and Rutger Hauer who played the villain, but he wasn't even given enough justice and was barely in the movie! Donald Sutherland is usually very good but it felt like he was largely shoehorned in and they followed the cliche trope of killing off a mentor/father figure in the middle of the movie, plus generic portrayals of teenage girls and boys with barely any depth or uniqueness. Joss Wheden wrote this??? I can't believe it!! Why do I feel like the Twilight movies got at least part of their inspiration from this and how a vampire story goes?? Even though it's a comedy!!
An entertaining but goofy movie. That is enjoyable due to the cast. The show was far superior though. Paul Reubens was a fine vampire, just not when he was dying as one lol. The best performance probably Donald Sutherland as a vampire Hunter trained.
One of the most corniest movies that I have ever seen that inspired one of the best if not the best Vampire Tv show of all time.
