Burn After Reading Reviews
Brilliant cast brings this movie to hilarious life...I laughed the entire way through...The Coens, Pitt, Clooney, Malkovich, Swinton, McDormand...who could ask for anything more?
Late to the party but this is just the kind of script and a film that excites me. The story keeps moving at a fast pace and new discoveries occur almost every few minutes. Most of the humour is a result of the brilliantly crafted unfolding and the beautifully created memorable characters. Burn After Reading is a must watch specially for the masterclass that it is in comic performances. Super Fun!!
This has to be the most entertaining movie I have ever seen. It has a compelling story, and it was funny from start to finish. I definitely recommend it for comedy fans!
How anyone could give this movie anything less than 5 stars is beyond me. It’s the equivalent of a Seinfeld episode with the intertwining of story lines! Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Francis McDormand, John Malkovich, etc!
Es la película mas graciosa que he visto en mi vida
A funny cast with some interesting setups that don’t quite make the landing. I liked the movie, but I feel like it could’ve really benefitted from one more rewrite.
This is definitely made for a particular audience who is fed up with the stupidity of beauracrecy the world. Great cast and performances.
Bem debochado e divertido, como são os filmes dos Irmãos Coen, ótimo para passar uma tarde de ressaca.
The best expression of a midlife crisis I have ever seen compressed into a fast paced film.
Again a wonderful movie from the Coen brothers.
Fails as a comedy, fails as a thriller, fails as a drama and has one of the most horrible endings I have ever seen. The characters with the most horrible personalities are the only ones who end up with what they wanted. The moral of the story is, be a horrible idiot, and you will be rewarded...
Not the worst I have seen, but neither a good one. Don't know what to think about this one.
Surprised to see so many top actors. It was interesting to see everyone portraying characters so very different from what their more recent movie roles have been. I thought it was very entertaining!
Say something good or don’t say anything! That’s what I’d like to do here. The filming around DC is excellent. The idea is good. The acting is good.
Wow the third act took an unexpected turn.
Enjoyably snarky comedy with a wonderful ensemble cast of quirky characters portrayed by big names who know just how to play them.
I'm not overly impressed with this one, but it wasn't bad either. I wouldn't call it a thriller by any means, but there was some success as a comedy. The characters were over the top and amusing, with some situational comedy thrown in. The plot was messy and ridiculous, but generally entertaining if you don't think about it too much. It featured an all-star cast, but their talents were somewhat wasted on a less than stellar script and strange deliveries. The pacing was good until the third act when it slowed way down. (Normally films pick up at that point, but this one got a little boring). I'm still not really sure what the message was supposed to be, but it was an okay enough way to pass the time.
A little learning is a dangerous thing. This movie is a comedy of errors which quickly get out of hand. It’s got a great cast which is why I watched it. Not keen on the violence.
This is an unexpected movie. Unexpected because I didn't know I was going to laugh so much! The ending is priceless.
This movie didn't go anywhere. Plot sucked. A few mildly amusing moments kept it from being a lower score.
