Audience Member Pointless sequel to a silly-but-likable family film. Goes in a completely different direction from the first. Back in the 90's during my private school days, Sunday school showed us this movie made by Mormons about a gang of fat kids known as the Buttercream Gang who go around doing good deeds for people. Somehow my family ended up getting a copy of this & my sister and I would watch it just to make fun of it. There's some unintentional humor, but altogether this is pretty unwatchable. Rated 1/5 Stars •  Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't remember much about this sequel to the Buttercream Gang, all I can vividly recall is the opening scene where the gang is jet-skiing in a like for around 20 minutes. It really had nothing to do with the rest of the movie. The plot was basically a huge rip-off of the Goonies, but without all the good elements. This further taught the values of good Mormon children and in that respect, I guess it served its purpose.
