In this animated adventure, Wilbur the pig meets lonely lamb Cardigan and quickly becomes close friends with him. Although Cardigan misses his home, he is cheered by Wilbur's friendliness. The gentle pig introduces his new acquaintance to his other pals at the farm, including Charlotte's three spider daughters, Nellie, Aranea and Joy. When Cardigan is sold to another farm, however, Wilbur and his friends must go on a quest, with help from a sly rat named Templeton, to rescue their wooly buddy.

Mike P Another farm epic about doomed animals fighting for their lives ...Wilbur takes over as "mother hen/guardian angel" for all the animals at the Zuckerman farm now that Charlotte's gone...So he watches over her daughters; and starts a gayish best-friendship with the new black sheep of the Zuckerman Farm, Cardigan. Then Cardigan gets sold; so he's forced to go on an Incredible Journey to find him...This plot isn't terrible but it needs to be streamlined: and the songs ARE terrible. Also the dialogue is anachronistic; EB White meant this to be a rural farm in Maine in the early 20th Century. And this isn't that. But there's good animation.
