Andrew (Dane DeHaan) is a socially awkward, introverted teen whose main form of escape and expression is a video camera. But things begin to change when Andrew, his cousin Matt (Alex Russell) and popular classmate Steve (Michael B. Jordan) discover a mysterious substance that leaves them with incredible powers. Woah, that was a really enjoyable watch. Definitely an underrated movie! It feels like one of those found footage movies at first, but then it quickly evolves into a superhero type of movie. The ending could be better, I definitely want to know what happened. Special effects are done well and it doesn't feel over the top. This is definitely what would happen if three teenagers suddenly got superpowers.

Extremely underrated, one of the best found footage type movies. Excellent acting but it was kinda hard empathising with the main character to the point where his personality felt annoying at times. Overall a very accurate portrayal of what being a "superhero" would feel like.
