There was nothing I dislike about this movie.

I liked the reminder of the importance of a father who is totally there for his family, taking the lead and following the LORD.

I loved this re-mastered re-release of Courageous! My 14 year old daughter and I cheered at the end. We have enjoyed the original for years. It's our favorite Kendrick Brothers movie. I cried so many times during the Legacy movie because it had been a while since I watched it. There are so many exciting scenes and touching scenes. I think it has it all. If you are passionate to see families restored and men take their place in their homes, you will love this movie. If you want to see some true heroes, watch this movie.

Its been years since I watched the original Courageous movie. While parts of this one did remind me of the original movie, there were plenty of differences between the two movies to still make this one well worth watching. This movie was more focused on teaching fathers how to be fathers. It also showcased the value of being a man of integrity. I mentioned in my review of Show Me the Father how my own relationship with my father was always strained. I spent more time wanting my father in my life than having him there. Even as an adult, I dont see him or talk to him nearly as much as I would like to. However, we have been trying to build a relationship, but when there is so much distance between you and your child, its hard to form and maintain a relationship. I think this movie showcased well how important it is for fathers to be actively involved in their childrens life. I think this is a family movie well worth taking the time to watch. I also hope it inspires fathers all around the world to step up to the plate to be godly men.
