Douglas Davidson Elements of Madness Individually, the films are interesting. Each one has a completely different style and approach, Nero doing some incredible work in each one, as they investigate (though I wouldn’t say interrogate) the relationship between crime and the mafia. Alain E A superb movie about the Sicilian mafia where what is explored is not shootings and mayhem but the power structure of the society. Excellent restored image. The music by Giovanni Fusco recalls similar works by Nino Rota for example. Excellent acting by the young Franco Nero and Claudia Cardinale.
