Deadstream Reviews
Divertidamente aterradora, sin duda alguna se volvió de mis películas favoritas de terror.
It went from goofy, to legit scary, to goofy, to scary again. Haven't had this much fun watching a horror movie in a while. The main character is just good enough that you both love him and hate him at the same time. And the effects make this even better because they seem to be mostly practical. Recommended!
Film perfectly blends comedy and horror, with a keen eye for social media trends.
Great fun film with some real jump scare moments. Refreshing and blends horror and comedy with real panache
maybe I just don't get the whole horror comedy genre
realistically one of the best found footage of all time; hilariously mocks tropes while making this feel really original as well as terrifying AND funny i had so much fun watching this
Nothing makes me happier than finding a genuinely good, new-to-me horror movie. Deadstream comes highly recommended, because it's simply fully entertaining. It's a put-your-phone down and pay attention movie. It's funny, it's scary, and it's very original. The multiple cameras and the framing of a livestream is very interesting and engaging, and the lead does a great job playing the part of a high-energy, self-absorbed streamer. I love the scares and the practical effects and just the fun energy of this movie. Like I said, I'm always looking for a horror movie I haven't seen before that will entertain me - and Deadstream did not disappoint.
Painfully unfunny and one of the least scary things ever made in the history of horror. An obnoxious and irritating lead and an obnoxious and irritating film. Absolutely nothing about this film works. Avoid it at all costs.
If you are looking for a true horror movie this isn’t for you. This has become my favorite comedy horror of all time! I laughed through out! The main actor did a great job, selling a real life YouTuber in this situation! Great movie!
Some really cool looking creatures/ghost. Not really scary. Totally went for an Evil dead silly but gross over the top aspect. The Lead actor annoyed me.
I watched "Deadstream" with a group of friends, and I think that is the optimal way to watch a movie like this. The movie feels inspired by other found footage horror, but does enough to make its own and delivers a fun ride. Once the first jump scare in the movie happens, it is pretty nonstop and entertaining. I don't usually gravitate to this type of horror, but I can appreciate how it does a lot with very little, and enjoyed all of the jolts and scares I got to experience in a group setting. Overall, it is an impressive little indie horror movie that genre fans can certainly enjoy and appreciate.
Overall a pretty entertaining twist on ‘found footage’, in this case a live stream of an internet prankster staying in a haunted house for a night. Some very creepy moments, decent acting given the concept, which moves along at a good pace with a few good jump scares. I’m bot normally into these kinds of horror movies but this one kept me intrigued for the duration, so I would say this is definitely worth checking out.
Equal parts terrifying and hilarious. Loved this movie!
I have become quite skeptical anytime I turn on a horror movie and find it to be "found footage", but this one has a nice creative twist and turned out to be a lot of fun. It starts off with a creepy vibe, as the protagonist plans to spend a night in a haunted house for a live-stream. It eventually spins wildly into a VERY Sam Rami-esque horror show, that swings back and forth from funny to disgusting. The horror makeup effects are quite weak, and betray an obviously limited budget. And the main character is intentionally annoying, and could potentially get on a person's nerves. However, if you are along for the ride with him, it was a really fun found-footage bonkers horror.
This movie was so bad it made me create a Rotten Tomatoes account just to write this. This was so terrible that it's painful to even give it half a star. It was already last on my watch list anyway judging by the trailer, we watched it early and the only positive thing to happen out of this whole experience is that it is now over.
Silly, over-the-top and surprisingly effective, Deadstream is a a solid horror comedy that's a really good time at the movies, with heart and panache!
Kind of a found-footage Evil Dead for the age of the problematic YouTube star. Quite silly, often sophomoric, but ultimately fairly satisfying.
Loved every minute of this. Only reason I didn't give this a 5 star was due to the poor makeup on some of the characters. Intentional or not I wasn't a fan of it.
This movie is my favorite horror movie of all time. It is so well done and has such a unique story. The plot and characters are incredible and the story and just the movie itself is so well done. I think that the quality and layout of this movie really succeeded in the horror genre. It fits perfectly and it seems like this movie should be a higher rated movie. It is so incredible and the creators did an excellent job and there is no really unrealistic part in it. It is all so amazing. Great job, guys.
If you like goofy horror movie parodies like “scary movie” this is for you. If you’re coming for horror this is not the one.
