The Blu Spot

Demons 2 has its fair share of impressive special makeup effects and a handful of amusing moments of silliness strewn throughout its 90 minutes, but the toned down amount of ridiculous spots leave a bit of a void that it isn't quite able to fill.

Nobody likes getting their nails trimmed. Or, in this case, their teeth. There’s a mannequin throw towards the end that’s just too good. Quite possibly the most 80’s movie I’ve seen in a bit.

A huge drop in quality, but I still have fun with it. It basically transplants the story and actors from the original into a high rise building. It's goofier, but it's gorier and takes some wild swings, placing children and pregnant women in danger this time.

There is a lot of rehashing in this. Not just main plot but in recreating iconic shots from the last movie. Also the characters haven't gotten any smarter. Plus there was this Italian Karen who was being a bitch about her birthday party. Lastly, it still doesn't explain anything about the demons' motives or what was the main goal was. Like the first, not good but not horrible either. Just Meh.
