Acting was OK but plot line was ridiculous and the entire movie was so far removed from reality that it was insulting to anyone with even an ounce of intelligence. A random guy that murders a bunch of illegals with no consequence? A semi-auto rifle that operates like a bolt-action except for when the 'victim' uses it against the perp? A flare that burns a dog alive and sets cactuses on fire? People that run through the desert for days with no food or water and are barely tired? A bad guy that only drinks whiskey in the desert but can make accurate shots on running people at over 100 yards? the whole thing was some sort of ridiculous hollywood fantasy.

This movie is sad but truly focuses on what many immigrants can go through while crossing the border, definitely a must watch

As a rare example of a thriller touching upon a 100% real humanitarian issue, Desierto has you on the edge of your seat every single second.

This Movie makes you think that this could happen, but I’m sure many unrecorded violent killings happens due to extremists preying on the helpless, on both sides of the border. One note, I enjoyed the directors narrative in the bonus feature. PJJS

In this day and age, this movie can not be glanced over as mere cinema, but as a window into the lives of outcasts and the trials endured for the sake of a better future, as well as a physical manifestation of the sickness that plagues the mind of those who believe they have a right to pass and exert judgement are the privileged few.

The dog part. For all sensitive animal lovers, nah. i dislike movies that show animal suffering.

La película Desierto por el director Jonás Cuarón trata el tema de inmigración y sobrevivencia. No me gustó la película, más que nada porque la película era repetitiva y no llegaba a ninguna lugar. Este película se trata de un hombre llamado Moises que está tratando de llegar a los Estados Unidos. Él y otros 13 tuvieron que caminar la última parte porque su camión se descompuso. En el camino, se encuentran con un hombre. que tiene un francotirador y un perro viscoso. ¿Lograrán salir con vida? Los actores interpretan bien a sus personajes. Puede sentir al miedo que experimentaron. Sin embargo, la película era repetitiva, por lo que no es tan agradable. Me hubiera gustado que sucediera más a lo largo de la película en lugar de que la gente corriera constantemente. No recomiendo esta película porque es repetitivo y aburrido. También mataron al mejor personaje, el perro. Espero que el perro descanse en paz.

La pelicula Desierto es dirigido por Jonas Cuaron en 2015. Este pelicula es sobre un hombre que odia los imigrantes Mexicanos y mata los que attemtan cruzar la frontera. Empieza con 13 imigrantes que quieran cruzar la frontera y cuando cruzan Sam el hobre que odia imigrantes mata la mayoria de los 13 mexicanos. Despues Sam manda su perro a matar uno mas. Con los tres que que dejan sam persiguen al lado de un acantilado y uno de los imigrantes calle y mure. Siguiente los dos que faltan distrayen a Sam con su oso de peluche y roban la camioneta de Sam. Cuando estan manejando Sam dispara a la niña en el brazo y el hombre se vuelta la camioneta. Al final el ultimo imigrante empuja a Sam de un colina y se calle con el. A mi no me gusto esta pelicula porque era muy repetitivo y no tenia trama. Yo pienso que los actores hicieron un buen trabajo.

Un perro muy agresivo. Esta película dirigida por Jonás Cuarón y estrenada el 13 de abril de 2016. Es una historia que muestra a un grupo de migrantes que son cazados por un supremacista blanco y su perro, durante la película veremos a los migrantes huir del cazador, hasta el desenlace final. La película puede llegar a ser entretenida pero ciertamente es una película bastante aburrida que no logra crear un ambiente de suspenso, el final no es del todo bueno, ciertamente no recomiendo esta película a menos de que tengas muchas ganas de verla.

Desierto dirigido por Jonas Cuarón la cual toma parte en la frontera cuando un grupo de inmigrantes quiere cruzar para obtener el sueño americano. La masacre empieza cuando un Americano (Sam) y su perro (Tracker) matan a un tercio de su grupo dejando a 5 personas vivas. De esas 5 se murieron 3 dejando a Moises y a Adela para sobrevivir el desierto y el loco de Sam. Cuando le robaron la camioneta a Sam sufren un accidente dejando a Adela herida. Moises se tiene que encargar de deshacerse de Sam y su perro. Después de deshacerse del perro Moises empuja a san de un barranco dejándolo morir en el desierto al quebrarle la pierna. Al final Moises regresa con Adela y juntos llegan a la ciudad.

Esta pelicula, directado por Jonas Cuaron, salió en 2016 con un historia muy intenso. Toda la pelicula se mira como si estas jugando un videojuego. A mi me gusto por esta trama intenso y muy realistico. Se trata de unos 13 inmigrantes viajando desde mexico a los EEUU. Al principio de su viaje su troca paro de funcionar asi que necesitaban caminar el resto del viaje. Cuando llegaron a los Estados Unidos había un estrecho de desierto muy largo de cruzar para entrar la ciudad. Un hombre, Sam, quien no les gustan los inmigrantes, vio a los inmigrantes caminando y empezó a disparar, matando 9 de ellos en una escena. El resto de la pelicula era los 4 sobrevividos corriendo de este hombre y uno por uno murieron hasta que solo dos quedaron. Una fue disparado en su brazo y el otro lo distrajo a Sam y al final quebró a la pierna de Sam y lo dejo para morir. El desarrollo de este tema era interesante porque usaban un patriota muy extremo y era interesante ver este perspectivo de un inmigrante. Los dificultades que experiencia fue claramente mostrado en esta pelicula.

This is a Democrat's Wet Dream, starring the ever resourceful Gael García Bernal, as the protagonist, 'impoverished 3rd world', who will do whatever it takes to enter (re-enter) the United States, even as he embodies the moral center of illegal immigration and competes for saint hood by his treatment of his traveling companions. All he has to do, is get around his antagonist played by the single-minded Jeffrey Dean Morgan, playing the symbolic role of white racist america, who is so easy to hate when you consider his bad boy roles, like Negan, in 'The Walking Dead'. With no real winners, this is further proof that leadership has failed our country and we should all abandon hope that we will ever establish mutal trust and respect with our neighbors, regarding our borders or our sovereignty.

An extremely underrated tense drama/thriller that really packs a full-blown punch to the face. An amazingly directed film that deserves more recognition.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen! It is basically about a lot of Mexicans trying to get to the United States. (crossing the border) Then there is a white guy that comes with his dog and kills all of them expect 2. Which one of them at the end left him with a broken bone and said the desert can kill him and then that was the end.
