Drumline Reviews

Feb 1, 2025

This music movie was pretty good. Nick Cannon, Zoe Saldana, Leonard Roberts, Orlando Jones, and the rest of the cast did a pretty good job in this movie. The story of the movie was kind of entertaining and dramatic. It's about showing people what you're made of. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you might enjoy it. It wasn't as great as I thought it would be, but it wasn't terrible.

Filled with impressive drumming, good music and an interesting enough plot to keep most entertained.

Bonitinho...

Same old story line with in different setting. Talented, cocky kid gets straightened out and makes good. This time it's a drummer in a college marching band instead of an athlete. Conflicts with authority, has a girlfriend and all the same trappings. In the end he straightens out and makes good. Who woulda guessed.

I never rated this eh?

Definitely some exaggerations and inaccuracies but the energy is contagious and somehow Cannon, a mediocre actor, carries the film fairly well.

Huge part of my childhood. Watched it on repeat.

As a drummer I found this worth watching but wasn’t blown away by the acting or storyline. Cool choreography though.

I loved it! It's all about becoming who you are meant to be through handwork and trying it out.

This movie is not high and tight. The only thing holding this together is the band choreography scenes

Drum line is the greatest movie of all time. GQ makes the film. You are totally r worded if you don't agree.

Hands down the best piece of cinematic history, a true national treasure. While being bedridden following an incident with my chiropractor, i had the chance to watch this DVD on repeat while living in my native Israel. Afterwards, this movie inspired me to move back to Harlem with my good friend Robert, learn the bare minimum of podcast producing skills, and now i am gainfully employed at the falcon carwash, living up to the American dream just like Nick Cannon did. Took me a few months to google how to watch it again since i lost the DVD, but i am excited to jump right back into the awesome drum slapping humor!

Cinematic genius. Totally snubbed by the academy. Don't Drum Lives Matter? Highest, tightest bibbers ever caught on film.

It was hit with the family and kids! It provides a good message for the young ones and has enough high-brow humor for us adults to feel engaged! It is truly an industry standard.

This movie definitely follows proto.

Keep featherin' it chomo. Follow proto and watch this movie or you're fired bud. Ta Ta there mommy!

This movie is like a tall glass of SPARKLING water on a hot day when you're coming up in May. Never stingy with his characters, Nick Cannon followed proto in this role, kept his jeans high and tight, making this a must see at home here now.

When Nadav said this is better than Casino I thought, are you tokked? but then he invited Conald and Norm over and we made some poutine and I have to say it's the greatest movie ever made. This shouldn't have a score of 82%, it should be uhhhh hundred percent. My brother didn't believe me, but after we got back from Falcon Car Wash I showed him where it spits and he said he's definitely coming up in May! In summary, I'm also writing this review on behalf of Nadav because he couldn't find this site on Google. P.S. Tina stole valor.
