Mincayani (Louie Leonardo), a tribesman in the Ecuadorean rain forest, lives by a violent code: kill or be killed. His world changes after he and his family kill a group of missionaries. Following the massacre, Mincayani and his family abandon violence and embrace their enemies. When the now-grown son (Chad Allen) of one of the slain missionaries returns to learn about his father's death, he becomes part of Mincayani's family.

Jelisije J A low budget bio pic based on the true story of how missionaries were killed by the natives they tried to convert and how due to their deaths the natives slowly converted and asked for forgiveness. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/25 Full Review Audience Member This film, which is based on true events, portrays the history of missionary families' reconciliation with the tribe that killed their husbands, this tragic occurrence changed the lives of all who were involved and knit them together as a family which taught them how to finally put an end to their violent ways and find peace.
