Even though the story isn't epic it's still a good, underrated film
People can find this epic, & this movie does have a wierd title, but it is ever so enjoyable. The casting was beautiful, to have Amanda Seyfried, Colin Farrell, Christopher Waltz & Beyonce really fitting their roles. With also great characters, a hot Leafman who stands out, his master, MK exploring that amazing world, an inventive father, 2 comic reliefs that are a snail & a slug & a villain who wants to destroy it to avenge his son (it is great to know why they are villainous The concept is rather fun as well, noticing nature is a society of humanoid plants & the late queen of Moonha Ven who controlled & protected their home. This also includes a well fitting soundtrack done by Danny Elfman (who composed The Nightmare Before Christmas & formerly the Simpsons) he is some of the great composers. In addition, I like it when Bomba thinks Leafmen helmets are Acorn helmets (could this be referencing Scrat/Ice Age?)
Meh seems to be the agreed upon opinion of this movie, it isn't good, but it isn't bad, lol. It has a neat story that which has been done before in similar fashion in other movies, but there are a few unique ideas sprinkled throughout, overall, the movie wasn't exciting enough, or funny enough, or cool enough, it just seemed like it was short of being something good in every way shape & form.
Everyone who talks smack about this masterpiece, must be thrown into a casket immediately. This movie is a wonderful piece of art that should only be watched in heaven. Only the pure should be able to witness such media, to whoever is reading this review and happens to dislike epic. I will find you. and I will make the ring of fire be shaken in such way that an earthquake and tsunami will come to your home, and extinguish everyone you know and love. Kind regards to people that love this movie.

This is probably the second best Spider-Man ever made (2002 Spider-Man is the GOAT). This has everything and is so much better than the first of its series. Animated movies are not my thing but this is incredible.

I have avoided this movie for years simply because the title told me nothing on what this story is about. just epic. ok?? and I remember seeing the trailers and they didn't really tell me anything either. Well I only watched this because people say its similar to another movie I really liked so I gave this a shot. It was pretty good! Not the best movie I've seen or anything but interesting enough. I guess this is based off a book called the leaf men or something...should've just kept that title idk why they changed it. story is ok, the romance factor kinda came out of nowhere and the villain isn't memorable to me. I did like the bond between daughter and father at the end though, that was cute. I probably won't go out of my way to watch this again but if anyone asks if this is good I'd recommend it. especially if you like fantasy or fairy type of stories
I love it! I don't get why everyone's hating on it so much. Although the title should've been kept the same as the book – it's not really that epic. Nonetheless, very good. An introverted heroine, how often do you see that? And no, she doesn't magically turn into an extrovert at the end.
It's made out of many familiar ingredients of animation past, but Epic does have some stunning CGI and vocal talent.

Epic is really unbelievable animated film but the story and feels like a movie we've seen some many times and know that reference like rise of the guardians, 2012 the hobbit and many names that felt similar but at least have Beyoncé so that's something.
Painfully slow. Awful. A forgettable, sleep-inducing kids' movie. Final rating: 46/100
