Eternals Reviews
Best' movie I am waiting 2 part
Boring all around not worth 3 hours to watch it
I absolutely loved the movie and i think its a shame it hasn’t been given a second movie, the people who hate for no reason got this movies sequel cancelled. I think there were a few things that could a been tweaked to make it better yes however it was still very well made and it should have gotten a sequel. Bring it back!!!
First hour or so was a slog to get through, and the plot twist felt stupid. Despite that, this was a pretty decent movie. Though, I do feel like it could’ve been better.
Very good movie, now it does make sense why The Eternals never showed up, they had a different purpose. It's the People that never read the comics destroyed every marvel movie they always have to say something that does not even make sense
I've come across this movie a few times starting from the beginning on Directv and I can't get past 10 minutes of it. The introduction of characters and advisories, story, editing/flow and cinematography all suck balls.
One of my personal favorite marvel movies, extremely underrated and should already have a sequel.
Eternals – A Unique and Ambitious MCU Chapter I really enjoyed Eternals. It felt like a different kind of Marvel movie, and that’s exactly what made it stand out for me. The acting overall was strong, with Angelina Jolie bringing an unexpected vulnerability and power to her role as Thena. But the real standouts for me were Barry Keoghan as Druig and Richard Madden as Ikaris. Keoghan brought an eerie calmness and moral conflict that made Druig one of the most interesting characters in the film, while Madden gave Ikaris the right mix of strength and tragedy. Visually, the film was stunning. The way they handled the speedster (Makkari) was incredible — probably one of the best representations of super-speed I’ve seen on screen. It felt original and visually fresh, completely reinventing how speedsters are portrayed in superhero films. The mythology behind the Eternals, and how the story spans across different historical eras, was fascinating. I loved how it dove into ancient civilizations and gave this cosmic storyline a grounded, almost mythological feel. It added depth and made the Eternals’ presence on Earth feel both epic and intimate. What I also appreciated was the way the movie explained why the Eternals haven’t intervened in previous MCU events. It was clear, believable, and well-aligned with their purpose. One of the most exciting things about Eternals is the legacy it leaves for the MCU. It introduced the Celestials in a way that felt massive and real — the scale of Arishem alone makes you stop and think, how is that thing even in the same universe as Iron Man? And yet, it works. The film made a clear point: Celestials aren’t gods — they’re creators of galaxies, operating based on a mechanic and purpose that the movie actually explains in a logical and compelling way. The soundtrack also deserves a shoutout. The original score, especially the use of organ and ambient tones, adds a divine, godlike atmosphere that perfectly matches the tone and presence of the Eternals themselves. It’s something new for the MCU and adds a lot to the emotional weight of the film. If there’s one weak spot, it’s the main villain. The Deviant threat was pretty forgettable, though it did serve a purpose in the overall story. And while not a major issue, the subplots around Dane Whitman felt underdeveloped — especially since we know there’s more to his character. The post-credits scene teases something exciting, but it leaves you wishing there had been a bit more setup or context in the film itself. That said, one thing I really appreciate is that Eternals expects more from its audience. It helps to have some “culture” — not just Marvel knowledge, but an appreciation for history, mythology, and philosophy. The film touches on deeper themes and historical moments that elevate it, even if that means it won’t connect with everyone. And that’s okay — it’s not meant to be just another MCU action movie. All in all, Eternals took big creative swings, and I respect that. Between the standout performances, rich world-building, stunning visuals, powerful soundtrack, and the bold direction it sets for the future of the MCU, it’s a film that truly stands out. I really hope we get a sequel — there’s so much more to explore.
The movie had some of the best visuals I've ever seen in a superhero movie, but that was the only good part of the film. The story was bland and boring, and none of the characters resonated with me.
Do I really have to say anything about this piece of garbage?
The Enternals are boring and insufferable as Marvel heroes the Eternals from the original series were interesting and heroic.
The world-building in this movie just gets better with each re-watch. The story is relatively straightforward and lets the diverse characters and their motivations shine. The plot twist hits pretty hard, and the drama and comic relief are quite balanced. I really hope these characters get more screen time. I suggest anyone who didn't appreciate this movie on the first watch take another look - it's damn good.
Good visuals and CGI but this isn't hated enough. They introduced 10 new main characters that they didn't spend enough time developing. I can't care about 10 protagonists when idk why I should be. 3/10
A very intriguing, but flawed movie. To start with the positives, the VFX is AMAZING and some of the best I’ve ever seen. You can clearly see they put a lot of effort into making this movie look good and I’m very happy with it. Also, it seems Marvel gave full reign to Chloe Zhao to do her own thing with this visually, and I think it does help. It is eye catching and does work in its favor. Continuing with the CGI, Makkari has some of the best speedster action in comic book movies at this point. Lastly for the positives, characters like Gilgamesh, Phastos, Druig, and Kingo are all very great and you do actually care about them. However, there is no tension throughout the whole movie since everyone knows Earth isn't getting destroyed and the plot is not very interesting. Too many characters leading to half of our Eternals being sidelined, making me think this would’ve been much better as an 온라인카지노추천 show. Also, the movie does the worst thing it can possibly do which is be boring. HOW? Finally, the writing is pretty all over the place, sometimes being creative and sometimes just going back to MCU dialogue. Really don’t know how to feel about this one, I guess 6/10.
These people who make this crap have no shame.
This is an excessively over hated movie, but that doesn’t mean it’s very good. It’s fun at times, dull at others. There’s not much else to say about it.
This is movie is not working, is clearly different to the other marvel movies there some cool effect and a good story but i don't really like the characters
I wanted badly to like it, but alass, it was terrible.
It's such a boring movie to watch, and the acting was really bad too. They just put a bunch of famous actors in the movie to add some hype but there's literally zero correlation. I only watched it because it's in the MCU watch order. It took me a whole week to finish it because I kept pausing it because of how boring it is....
Eternals, an ambitious superhero epic, takes the MCU in intriguing yet confusing directions.
