Extraterrestrial Reviews
"Well..if you are a lover of Sci Fi horror type of thrills and jump scares..and or you have a completely open mind about whether or not we are truly 'Not Alone' in the universe vast and strange..and creepy aliens & monster menacing Unidentified Flying Objects piloted by Otherworldly Beings..ones that abduct humans and experiment on animals and such terrifying things..then kids..you should probably enjoy this little SciFi Horror flick. The film rolls along at a pleasant spooky pace, has some reasonably good acting by the young protagonists and the veterans who play the characters in this moody dark little frightner..and, it has a story plot that could almost be taken right out of the pages of Alien Human Abduction biographies of the real life Abduction of Travis Walton (Fire in The Sky ) or from the seminal greys encounter of Communion and many more such haunting true life extraterrestrial encounters of the Fourth Kind..I truly recommend a viewing of this Frightmare..enjoyingly watched on a stormy night or Halloween, with some tasty munchies & fave drinks, even a cup of cocoa..or just a evening of Fright Fest Fun with the mates, the kids, and or on your by yerself with the pets Lonesome Onesome. And the veteran actors should be very familiar to fans of this type of SciFi Horror spook flicker,I won't name them here,I'll leave the nice surprises for your watch pleasure
Honestly better than expected
I only watched this because I've thoroughly enjoyed everything Colin Minihan has directed/written. And I love me some Brittany Allen ❤️ 🤩 . But yeah, it's terrible. If you've been on a Colin Minihan kick, this is the one you don't need to watch. Did it for ya 😉.
I found this movie to be more entertaining than I expected. I was anticipating a cheesy low budget flop, which the first two parts turned out as predicted. However, a flop it was not… kind of a cross between Communion, Fire in the Sky, and a future movie Nobody Will Save You all wrapped into one. Also kind of has some Evil Dead cabin vibes goin on. Sure, if you've see one abduction movie, you've seen em all. But this one was rather enjoyable and worth a watch.
The music in the movie is 10x louder than it needs to be meaning I was constantly adjusting the volume of the movie for the first 30 minutes until I decided to just turn it off.
This movie could have been good if it didn't rip off about every alien abduction narrative out there. It's predictable, it's corny,, it's filled with cliches, the camera work is shoddy and worst of all, the acting is atrocious!!! I really had high hopes for this one, but it's really not worth anyone's time.
I don't know why there is so many bad reviews.I enjoyed it and there is much worse alien films out there.I really like the ending bit of a twist
Your life is vital and precious. Do not waste the time you have on this Earth by watching this. It is not worth your time and you have so, so much to live for.
This movie had no hope... and then Michael Ironside showed up... then the aliens showed up. I really like where this movie finished, especially in contrast to where it started, but how it got there was a bit unfocused and messy. 2 1/2 of 5
The story had potential but the poor acting and dialogue ruined it. I wonder if the actors are happy being killed off by the aliens with lines that bad. They could of made a decent B horror movie here but sadly no.
Im sat in a caravan in wales that gets basic tv coverage so i watch this movie on a freeview channel, god its awful, like really really awful. There is no continuity its as though they started writing it without knowing what the ending would be, had 3 or 4 heroes in mind killed them all off and then paniced cause they had no heroes left so they kill everyone else and have this big reveal at the end where the camera pans round for a big reveal on the face of some xfiles like smoking man conspirator only for it to be some c**t who hasnt been in the film before(this isnt a spoiler alert by the way as this movie was spoilt from day 1).
Ignore the so called experts...they always get it wrong. This is actually a very entertaining movie and well worth a watch.
Not great but not bad either. And bc the ending was very good, it gets 3*. The acting is ok, but the casting was waaay off. The actors did not look their parts.
Flipped on this low budget sci-fi/horror on a chance. It opened well enough. I was thrilled to see Gil Bellows, who is always good, in the cast. Michael Ironside is a staple in low-budget stuff, but Gil surprised me. Even with this poorly written material and awful dialogue, he shines. Ironside was also substantially better than this material. This film is let down by vapid content, clichés upon clichés, and general mediocre acting. Some of the unknowns gave a good effort, but the whole comes up well-short of mediocre. The ubiquitous addition of Marijuana was no surprise, but a huge turnoff, as was the endless cursing, and shaky cam character filming of the film. It'd be nice to be pleasantly surprised by an intelligent, original, low-budget Sci-Fi or horror. This wasn't it.
Yes, all right. Murdering aliens. Blah, blah, blah. The suicide of the Sheriff was an unusual touch, that was unexpected. Not too many jump scares. I at least appreciated that. Oh, and the Alien anal probe. Let's not forget 'bout that one.
Very cliche, but entertaining enough, even though they couldn't decide on an conclusion, so they drag it out into 3 different endings. Impressive with how much they were able to accomplish on such a low budget, aside from the wonky Alien effects...
You guys are all retarded. This movie was well executed. They took a cliche plot and made it interesting. Took what could have been a lamb lover story and mad it realistic. The visual story telling was great. Obviously all these nay sayers have never mad a film or written a script in their life. Until you do shut the fuck up.
