Family Law Reviews
intellectually humbling, this argentinian lawyer/professor is navigating through life in such a way that you can't help to sense something missing... are things coming together as he would wish... yes... is he living a privileged life... yes... is he content... hmm... surely something spiritual is going on behind the scenes which is subtly revealed when his highly successful lawyer father begins showing more embrace.
starts cjut, and drops
This is a film you do not love or hate. It is a simple story and the characters are sweet, but I think it needs a bit more drama. I love simple stories and I can enjoy a movie without much going on in it, but in this case I felt that the movie had just enough to keep you watching but not to make you really interested.

This move has nothing special for me but it is nicely made and relaxing enough to be worth watching. There is no strong storyline nor and real message, just an average flick.
"Family Law" starts with Ariel Perelman(Daniel Hendler), a law professor, recounting how he met and fell in love with his wife Sandra(Julieta Diaz), a Pilates instructor, while she was auditing one of his classes. So taken was he with her that he started attending her classes and even helped out with a trademark infringement suit filed against her with an assist from his father Bernardo(Arturo Goetz), a renowned lawyer. Years later, Ariel and Sandra have a son Gaston(Eloy Burman). Even with everything going on in his life, Ariel is still at a loss when he gets an unexpected month long break... "Family Law" is a knowing character study of not one person, but two which is important in considering the differences and similarities between fathers and sons. Ariel and Bernardo are both lawyers but very different ones and human beings. While both are uneasy with the concept of a vacation, Bernardo is social and active in his job while Ariel is withdrawn and passive. Ariel's attitudes were probably shaped by how he saw his father while growing up and perceptions are definitely an important part of their jobs, especially in how important a witness is in a trial.
Me encanta la combinacion daniel burman y daniel Hendler. Siempre me hacen reir y pasar un buen rato.
Una historia bien narrada y que por sobre todo, emociona. Absulatamente recomendable para aquellos que desean ser padres.
