Get Me Roger Stone Reviews
Everyone should rewatch this to see how much of it they were able to accomplish. It's a roadmap of how we are where we are today.
it's just a fake political hit job. you can see the same junk on any liberal news station if you want to believe the propaganda machine. Find it odd how the liberal media hasn't written one good thing about our elected president. not a single good thing. Why continue watching or reading those liars who are willing to win at all costs. They attempt to make Roger Stone out to be the exact type of person they are. it's kind of disgusting to watch. We are not in a communist country, don't try to manipulate me. LIARS!
Somewhat bias, but it is informative and revealing.
Get Me Roger Stone is a chilling and riveting portrait of a man who makes no pretense of morality, for whom the ends absolutely justify the means, no matter how loathsome. While he purports to operate always within the law, a jury of his peers recently begged to differ. As a boy of 8, Roger Stone by his own account lied shamelessly to swing his elementary school mock presidential election and never looked back. He went on to a gleeful career of dirty tricks (and worse) on behalf of Nixon, Reagan, both Bushes, and Trump, the last of whom he began urging to run for president in the 1980s If you want to understand Trump's campaign, election, and presidency, this absorbing documentary is a great place to start.
As much a snapshot of the nadir to which American politics generally has sunk as the portrait of one of its backroom avatars, this is a fascinating and dispiriting overview of the Trump election campaign and its peculiar delight in trashing everyone who gets in the way. Roger Stone claims to revel in his own ignominy, and the only failing here is that we learn so little about what engendered such cynicism.
Roger Stone gets painted as both a political genius and neurotic menace in this thorough, well-balanced documentary.
I know the nazi libs attempted to paint Roger in the most negative light but watching this actually made me like Roger Stone. He's a charismatic figure and watching the story of his life is entertaining.
Slightly above average in style & execution, this doc excels at illustrating how much of a smug, narcissistic, arrogant, hate-filled, spiteful, self-aggrandizing, lying sociopath Roger Stone (&, by extension, Donald Trump) is.
I like most people had never heard of Roger Stone. It turns out that the man has been one of the most powerful scumbags in GOP politics for decades.
Recommended viewing for anyone looking for insight into the depths of depravity of American politics' foremost ratfcker (and those who made use of his services).
A fascinating story. Roger Stone has enough personality to carry a documentary on his shoulder. A good movie for fans of politics. Overall, very well made.
A perfectly frustrating capsule of everything infuriating about American politics, and specifically the 2016 election. Every single one of "Stone's rules" is the opposite of all that is decent and good, and I often found myself laughing at the sheer insanity of all this. A portrait of an evil genius who helped to destroy our political system probably more than anyone else.
I hate this man's guts and everything he stands for however, this is a captivating film on the prince of darkness of modern American politics.
Filled with interviews of Stone, Manafort, Trump, and others, this movie shows the brand of politics that helped Trump get elected. Going back to his days on Nixon's CREEP organization, Stone has played roles in many campaigns. He enjoys his image of a dirty trickster, believes morals are for the weak, states it's better to be infamous than not ever be famous, and believes the ends justifies the means. It's an important film all voters should watch as we look at the state of politics today.
Watching this film contributes to the problem they document. This man is trash and we should not be giving him the attention that he so desperately craves.
fascinating. if you want to understand the depth of cynicism of the political machinery that put trump in the white house, you need to watch this film.
