Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Hashmi does a good job of being Dubey, trying to tone down the dialoguing and making it sound conversational. But tighter would have been better. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 28, 2025 Full Review Anupama Chopra The Hollywood Reporter The past haunts the present Apr 25, 2025 Full Review Shilajit Mitra The Hindu Deoskar’s visual imagination of Kashmir is strictly limited; there are frames here that could have been imported, with a few button clicks, from other films. The dialogue writing is worse... Apr 25, 2025 Full Review Devesh Sharma Filmfare Ultimately, Ground Zero is not just a retelling of a daring counterterrorism mission; it’s a tribute to the unsung warriors who stand between peace and chaos. Watch it for the untold story of one of India’s most pivotal military operations... Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 25, 2025 Full Review Dhaval Roy The Times of India The narrative pace dips at times, but it remains engaging—a deliberate blend of slow burn and suspense that builds steadily, culminating in a gripping climax as the hunt for Ghazi Baba reaches its peak. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 25, 2025 Full Review Ganesh Aaglave Firstpost Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar’s directorial is a no-nonsense thriller that hits the chord right from its first frame. The filmmaker makes an engaging action-thriller, which is masterfully crafted through its compelling storytelling. Rated: 3/5 Apr 25, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

arvind s Biopics are not what they used to be. Ground Zero may retell the story of a BSF officer and his heroics in bringing down Ghazi Baba but the lack of emotional depth is astounding. Emraan Hashmi leads this biopic as BSF Officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey with Sai Tamhankar playing his wife and Mukesh Tiwari, Deepak Parmesh star as fellow BSF officers. Emraan Hashmi gives a committed performance as Dubey with adequate amount of restraint by not going all hyper-nationalistic like other movies about armed forces do. But despite that, the tension building, the angst that rises from the brutal attacks carried out by Ghazi (Parliament attack) is barely felt. It is a very matter of fact movie that doesn't carry the emotional weight or turmoil suffered by the nation or its protagonist. Given this is backed by Excel Entertainment, it was a shocker to see Ground Zero turn out to be a very ineffective movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/30/25 Full Review Mirza M 'Ground Zero' is a solid military thriller that packs in ample intensity to make it an engaging and impactful watch.
