Love that movie. Same spirit as Princess Bride or a Christmas movie. Light and joyous movie.

Watched after finding out that part of it was filmed on the Mail Rail in London... We visited recently A decidedly 90's movie, with bizarre concepts strewn throughout, and some mad hammy moments. It made me smile more than it made me roll my eyes, and I did enjoy seeing some of the tongue-in-cheek comedic sequences play out

I loved this movie when I was a kid! It was critically panned on its release but I say it has more charisma, character, ingenuity, humour and wit than 99% of the movies released today so that gives you an idea of just how low the bar has been set these days. It's just a fun and zany comic book caper for kids and adults who enjoy light hearted high jinks!

I saw this with a buddy when it came out. We laughed and laughed at how silly it was. It wasn't supposed to be serious like diehard. It was purely for sh*ts and giggles. Everyone was over the top but so what. Its a good watch, especially if you have a beer in you. Do yourself a favor, have some food, drink a couple beers and enjoy the silliness of it.

At it’s best in the conclusion, where the pace is quicker and the comedy frequent and noticeable.

Yes it is bad, but it isn't trying to be good. If you feel like something absurd and goofy this can be a guilty pleasure thing.

I loved this movie. Just plain fun with great actors. Over the top fun.

If your able to seriously explain this plot to someone who hasn't seen this than idk what your reading this for. You clearly have a higher IQ than me because the longer his went on the more nonsensical, convuluted, and purely dumb this became. The music is boring and the music numbers with Bruce & Danny are stupid. The acting is terrible with the main culprits being the terrible dialouge which makes no sense half the time and the dumb humor. The humor lands hardly ever and when it does i's usually because it's unintentionally. The cinemaotgraphy isn't good either. The settings are nice and there is production value in this but it's used in dumb ways and weighed down by the crazy stupid story and bad humor. And this leads to terrible editing and pacing. To it's credit it's never boring though and even when it doesn't make sense I was always "entertained" somewhat by the commitment to stupidity. The plot is like a screwball Hitchcock spy thriller that sort of gives off North by Northwest vibes but never makes any sense with it's twists it throws at you the more this goes on. It's just dumb, stupid, nonsensical, and mindless. Skip This.

Extremely bizzare but not nearly as awful as I expected. Yeah, Bruce Willis is not good here but almost all of the supporting performances are memorable (Grant and Bernhard in particular are sublimely campy). Had anyone involved been willing to occasionally say "no" to Willis or at least tried to shape this into a consistent movie it might have worked

This a great piece of escapism and is up there with Die Hard

Perhaps its slapstick humor was funny for a previous generation, but it's lost on a modern audience. Hudson Hawk isn't a typical Bruce Willis movie, and while it serves up a couple of admirable qualities, it's ultimately a letdown.

In theory, it could have been an entertaining movie, in reality, it was a total mess with no redeeming qualities.

Minha opinião: Conheci Bruce Willis no seriado "A Gata e o Rato" onde ele faz o papel de um investigador junto a atriz Cybill Shepherd onde ele faz o papel de humor. Mas seus filmes de maior bilheteria sempre foram os de policial fechandão, depre,.... este é um dos poucos filmes que ele interpreta o papel que o destacou, o humor. Este filme é do estilo #trash #cult Um filme onde Willis acaba de sair da cadeia e rencontra com seu velho parceiro Danny Aiello, um grande vilão e gangster junto com sua esposa querem contratar seus trabalho para roubar 3 artefatos que contém o segredo de Da Vincci, que pode transformar o metal em ouro. E assim vai se construindo o filme de forma cômica e sarcástica. Com mortes sem sentido ou ações sem pé e nem cabeça. E temos a atriz Andie MAcdowell que uma freira que queer impedir, mas se envolve com Willis. Um filme que assiti e deu um dejavu da época da "A Gata e o Rato" do seu humor e estilo. Roteiro e enredo é trash, é cult Vale apena assistir? Só se você curti este estilo de filme Nota: 4 e nota 7 pelo dejavu.

It's so stupid that it's decent.

Overall, I can't recommend Hudson Hawke to anyone, but actually. I changed my mind; I actually will. But not because this film is fantastic, but because it's not. Because sometimes you need to see a movie that's so bad, it's funny. Films like this are almost impossible to grade because I found myself laughing for the wrong reasons and not because of what this film wanted to be.

Loved this movie & have seen it over 15 times.. I didn't get the humour at first but as I watched on, I thought it was brilliant.. j have my own copy in Oz & one for travels .. I just watched it again tonight & I still love it..

Nonstop doublecrossing action with some comedy.

The script is a chaos, but one must recognize it's funny.
