One of the best sports movies to date. Truly an Inspirational movie for all viewers on what it takes to play a sport with a purpose or fight for the life that you desire. Even if you don’t like basketball or sports in general, you will be rooting for Sandy and Bo along the way as they fight their own mental demons to achieve their dreams. Adam Sandler often gets brought down by critics but this film is some of his best work.

Maybe this is more for sports fans. A worthy film with some serious drama and great acting and humour.

Serious Sandler remains an underrated great. A relevant basketball film about the current worldwide growth of the sport and the NBA’s increased interest in players across the globe for the next foreign-born phenomenon. It’s influenced by the fellow Philadelphia sports story, “Rocky”, and nails the necessary points that make a great sports film with enough deviations to make it unique. Adam Sandler is great at delivering in the drama-leaning scenes, but still has enough lines that let his humor shine through. All the NBA players who act in this film deliver serviceable performances, Juancho Hernangómez rises to the challenge of playing a prominent character and Anthony Edwards steels every scene he is in. It’s a great pure sports film and a must-watch for NBA fans.

Wow! 1. Basketball as a sport was represented so realistic, true hoopers will appreciate realism. 2. Adam Sandler killed it, he is an elite actor when he does something outside of comedy. 3. All basketball players did a stellar job acting as well- You can make an athlete act, you can’t make an actor play pro ball. 4.Story is perfect, brilliantly paced, with so much passion and heart in it. All in all, a true cinematic experience for basketball lovers, and a great watch for people who are not. In my opinion the greatest sport movie ever made, Inspiring

Película que me recomendaron y la veo bastante entretenida, una buena historia y buen desarrollo. Buena actuación la de Adam Sandler pero no siento que supere a la película de Uncut gems, aún así se nota el esfuerzo a pesar de ser una película más reciente.

Between the opening fast food scenes and the rubbing his tired lady's feet scene, I was like oh geez. But the story is worth telling and sticking around for. C'mon who eats Wendy's on a plane... I've done a lot of bad travel and bad airports, and even I don't go that far.

A really good movie with Adam Sandler taking a more serious role. Love that he is branching out to new roles. My only complaint is it was too short. Definitely coulda used a bit more room to develop the story. But other than that, it was great.

In my opinion, this is Adam Sandlers finest work, this movie feels like he really flexed those acting muscles to use his years of acting experience, still a great watch with the family, underdog movies are fantastic.
