I Care a Lot Reviews
An extremely evil plot and for the show to defend that evil character. The writer must be a some wicked soulless person.
If the first time that I write a comment there. I just joined there to write how angry and frustrated this movie makes me feel. Just a waste of time. Horrible
The most predictable movie I have ever seen.
It was hard for me because there isn’t anyone good that you want to win. It was entertaining but disappointing, I guess I enjoy movies with an actual protagonist that deserves to win.
If I could give it negative stars I would. It doesn’t even work as a thought provoking piece, as the storyline lost its way and never arced back to being any good at all.
Ok, were do I start from???? This film baits you in with something serious like the problem of Guardianships in America (land of the Free... whatever) and then it turns into something else. At the start of the film, after what we see, anybody right of mind and with some level of moral, would love to see Marla die or suffer for what she does and she is. Then, at end of the film, after this ridiculous plot development, you still want her to die and finally justice is served. That, and I mean seriously, that was THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THIS RIDICULUOS DEBACLE. Let's see: an inept judge who drinks anything that Marla would show him, next a mobster who has moral complication with torture than he has with using people as mules, his henchmen who are literally two different portrays of the gang of the Three Stooges, two women who, according to the Law of physics, should have been dead 20 minutes before the end of the film (once she ends up in the lake she manages to get out of the car, breaking out, I meant... how about water pressure? how about the windscreen that looked like papier-mâché? how about the a- synchronicity where she has all the time to return home after she walks out to a town, buys some new clothes, wait for a new taxi, then returns... best case scenario one hour has gone and her "friend" is still alive in the house after she was beaten and left for dead with the gas-tap on??? A mobster who is completely unable to clear out those two jokes of women that the scenographer want us to believe them to be some badass? (I mean, they go and kidnap the boss!!???? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH) I mean, who wrote this piece of crap???? Please change jobs. You will do everyone a favour! Absolutely ridiculous. I felt sorry for two of my favorite actors who ended playing this parts in this mockery of a film. Nearly 2 hours of my life lost!
Complete waste of time.
Worst ending of a movie I've ever seen. It's just not plausible. Very disappointing. There are so many ways this could have ended in a cool twist. Did the writer just give up?
The premise behind this production is chilling: the movie itself had great character actors but the plot was disappointing.
How the idiotic so called critics gave this 79 percent is beyond me, they must all be out to lunch. This is THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN. They actually expect us to root for the protagonist who is a monster in a girl power plot where she kidnaps the elderly imprisons them and steals from them? Bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BC IT WILL ONLY frustrate & infuriate you. Why is there no zero stars option.
I absolutely loved this movie. It is a corrupt world out there, and these things absolutely do happen in America.
One of the most frustrating and awful movies I have ever seen. The main character is a vile woman who you are apparently supposed to root for somehow. The movie set up the Mafia?? to be scary, but it was made up of buffoons who would in no way be able to run a candy store let alone a mob. Hated it after the first half!
Poorly writen how is average woman gonna out do trained killers waste of time plot is a mess will not recomend
I enjoyed I Care a Lot, good cast and acting, well written for the most parts. It's a good movie overall, with plenty of suspense and unexpected twists. However, while the film is entertaining, I can't help but feel it could give some people the wrong idea about exploiting the vulnerable for personal gain. It highlights a dark side of the system that could be seen as a blueprint for those with questionable intentions.
Why in the world would we promote or try and push the idea that this lady is a boss when she is taking advantage of the elderly. This was a waste of time and one of the worst movies I’ve seen. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
So we root for those stealing from the elderly… I don’t care one bit for this movie.
Well written, well directed, great cast, yet unrealistic. I was beyond pissed for the majority of this film. I hoped for the portrayal of justice on a real problem that happens in our country- but the series of events was devastating.
It was no one to root for, and why would the person wanting old people to loose everything and children getting nothing win? I get it’s a movie but the end is not what most people is wanting to see
This is so bad. Thought I'd be better it just gets worst
