I was not familiar with Iliza Shlesinger before I watched this. This was my first time watching her work. She was exceptionally funny in this special for Netflix. Covering topics ranging from Party Goblins, mermaids, ugly giants, the differences between the generations and the sexes; the special was a fast paced roller coaster of laughs. Iliza's humor seems to both understand and hate her status as a millennial. Due to this her humor definitely strikes a cord for a younger audience. The special ends with a hilarious Shark Tank bit. I was really impressed with her intensity throughout. The way she punctuates her jokes with screams at just the right moments reminds me of Sam Kinison. Her use of exaggerated body language and frequently acting out her jokes reminds me of Sebastion Maniscalco. She is a commanding comedic performer and I look forward to watching her other specials.

Just bad bad bad. She’s lost her touch and more an activist than a comedian at this point. Too bad, she was a legend in the making, now just better off making hot dogs after Lakers games

Hilarious as usual! Yes she does speak from a female and a white perspective and a single and a young 30 something dating in LA perspective. Not my demographic but clean, intelligent, quick witted, fast speaking and soooo funny. All five of her specials are. Don't get so trigger happy about a line observing a positive attribute about a different race as it's comedy as all comedians do only usually and historically negatively. She makes fun of her own "type" and "friends " most definitely actually warning men....
hlesinger covers off both familiar standup territory (nights out drinking, sex, physical appearance standards) and entirely unique observations (mermaids, ugly giants, Shark Tank). Her material can be especially pointed as she explores topics like sexism, weight loss, harassment and pornography, but she doesn't sacrifice humour for the sake of her argument. It's all sharp, and it's all funny.

Not quite as good as her other shows, but still a killer set.

It's funny but also became mostly a humorously put political statement even I got tired of even though I agreed. She reminds me so much Alicia. YES! No more Mermaid stuff! I liked it a bit but that was before I saw it freaking everywhere. Lol love that she makes noises and weird voices and even snorting but still looks cool and yea.

This was terrible. I kept waiting to laugh. I think I chuckled at a few one liners. But ultimately it was just annoying and hard to watch. Tons of preaching and little to do with actual comedy. I kept checking the time to see how much was left as I felt like maybe it would get better.... but it never did. I laughed at more of her material in war paint but this was so far from being entertaining.
