J H It doesn't offer many answers to the myriad of questions it raises, but it's undeniably scary. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/26/25 Full Review Andy B It's the ultimate STD ..you think ,and there the originality ends. Dreadful piece made the music apparently. Very apt. 'Horror scenes ' are, but not in way intended. Almost laughable, if they weren't so awful. At least audience reviews give a clearer perspective. Unlike 'Experts ' ...96%!? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/20/25 Full Review Jade L Subtly scary with the nondescript Mid-Western setting adding to the ominous vibe. The way the friendship group did not have a lot to do emphasized the waiting for the curse, highlighting both the empty time and space, the quietness that can only be filled by a juxtaposing attack. It seems their lives were mundane but not unfulfilling before the curse, with the irony being that they dreamed for more excitement and adrenaline. The film is psychologically jarring without using cringe tactics, although the cast are teens it does not use cliche jumpscares or exaggerated fear, making it all the more scary. I'm sure gender and socio-economic backgrounds tie into this as I know in the US there are often politics surrounding virginity and purity, so this film is a direct reflection of the worries in that genre. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/25 Full Review Daniel C Extremely overrated crap. Different people walking after you was a dumb idea and not scary at all. Hey critics find another job my goodness Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Daniel C It's an inventive concept for sure, but with a plethora of plot holes and some rather inconsistent pacing, the movie ultimately presents as a great foundation for a horror franchise that stumbles on delivery. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/20/25 Full Review Audience Member I just didn’t care that they do it in order to be possessed. That’s just weird Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/08/25 Full Review Read all reviews
