Why do people hate this I think it’s very funny and sweet for the whole family

I really thought I'd hate it and think it was stupid. But I enjoyed it way more than that. It is stupid, but I did laugh at times and it's not inappropriate for the kids to watch. And yeah - why IS Al Pacino so committed?? He's great in it!

Unforgivably bad on every level. No wonder it took home literally all of that year's Golden Raspberry Awards. Even if you're a die-hard fan of the Sandman, you'll still have difficulty trying to defend this disasterpiece. I will say one thing, though - it's at least more enjoyable than "Hubie Halloween", and Al Pacino does provide a beacon of hope. Other than that, it deserves all the hate and to be considered one of the worst films ever made. Even in a decade that brought us "Grown Ups" and "That's My Boy", this film stuck out in Adam Sandler's filmography like at least five sore thumbs.

Who thought this movie was a good idea?

This was one of the best film since the Waterboy for Adam Sandler. This beats Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison by a mile. I wish they had made Jack and Jill 2!!!

This movie was so f**king stupid and annoyingly unfunny I turned it off after the dinner table scene. I literally couldn't bear to watch another second of this POS without ripping my hair out frustration. I'd rather have hot fire pokers inserted into my ears and eyes then sit thru this un-comedic steaming pile of sh*t!

I love how Adam Sandler movies have horrible ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. I was expecting this to be awful -- instead, it's a typical Adam Sandler movie -- it's a 90 or so minute entertaining movie with an ensemble cast, several extremely funny moments and the same exact quirks that you'll find in any Adam Sandler movie. Adam Sandler has somewhat of a formula -- wherein the movie feels fresh, yet it has all of the same tropes that made the other movies (if you liked them) so much fun. I do like good movies, but sometimes I actually would like to have fun and watch something that is clever for being fun, not clever for being clever. And yes, as some have stated, the acting is wonderful -- for a comedy. The reviews on here seem to forget the category. The category is fun - and it's a lot of fun and after a somewhat crap day, this movie made it.

The movie is such a disaster beginning to end. Unfunny, 0 talent outside of Pacino, and possibly the laziest Adam Sandler movie yet. Aside from all of this though, the movie contains a Jared Fogle cameo, which completely curses this movie as an unforgivable piece of garbage that I cannot morally or even remotely label as "cinema." Let the record stand that "Jack & Jill" is what the poster child of rock bottom for movies should look like.

There are few movies that are transcendent and elicit an uncontrollable joy deep in my being, Jack and Jill is one of those movies. Genuine acting, hilarious and emotional script, perfect directing, and Al Pacino come together in a perfect testament to the human experience and familial loves.

Fantastic. Script was baked to perfection. What’s better than 1 Adam Sandler? 2 Adam Sandlers. What’s better than 2 Adam Sandlers? Al Pacino being in love with one of them. This movie is hilarious from beginning to end.

Could not stop laughing. Was expecting it to be a bomb. Really well written amd delivers jokes. Situational comedy spot on too.

I know I know, I'm a sucker for so-bad-it's-good type stuff. I can't remember the last time I've laugher out loud this much in a movie! (It could be that my wife watching me laugh so much while seeing her WTF face through the goofy jokes, could have contributed Lol) Obviously shut off your brain and enjoy the dumass humor haha
