Senses of Cinema
Though the intertwining of these story lines is disorienting at first, each story fragment is quiet and direct, and the tension of the film eventually empties out into the still landscapes of rural Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré.

One of the most dramatic and profound movie stories I've ever seen. I remember it took me a couple of weeks to get out of the film. Faith survives.

An amazing film about human deceptions and compassion. Another very good work from director Bernard Emond.
