Dash R This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Terrible writing. Stupid confusing plot. Bad acting, especially Raquel who whispered every line like she was Monroe. But that's mostly because it helped originate a film genre... a mystery film with an all-star cast and a plot that mystery aficionados love to read in Agatha Christie-style books. "The Glass Onion" and "Knives Out" can thank this under-appreciated movie for their heritage. As I said, I had seen this movie once before. However, I had forgotten how it ends. It was so well disguised that I didn't see that ending coming... again!! My biggest complaint with this movie was that I thought it was a little too long. I think a lot of misinformation was thrown in there, just as red herrings, but it never really added anything to the plot. Herbert Ross directs dreamily, the performances are half-hearted, the whole thing is shapeless and irritating. Spot the number of times the cast look at the camera.
