Synopsis
In a maternity hospital, kindly nurse Miss Bowers (Aline MacMahon) oversees the numerous women who have come in to deliver. Mrs. West has six children and looks forward to her latest, while showgirl Florette (Glenda Farrell) plans to give her newborn up for adoption. One woman hovers near madness while waiting to give birth. Convicted prisoner Grace Sutton (Loretta Young), weakened from incarceration, arrives with her husband, Jed (Eric Linden), and frets about the future of their baby.
