The action part being that archaeologists have to fight against the last aztec people. And then the sci-fi part is that the aztec thunder god looks like one of the gargoyles from the hunch back of Notre Dame. The monster is low quality cgi, no one in this cast is like able, and most of the acting sub par at best. If you want a good movie, look somewhere else. If you want a movie to mock, then this flick is for you. Why the one star rating??? They put SOME effort into this film. The costumes are alright, some of the scenes are quite bloody, and they probably did their best because this film took 19 days to make (#why even bother). But this is a typical action movie that would never be mentioned at all and probably left to rot on a shelf at good will. A truly awful mishmash of bad writing and worse acting, crappy cgi and even crappier models. If you have the opportunity you have to check out the majesty of its sucking! Also Shannon Doerty. The dude from Stargate shi is pretty good as Professor Thane. Basically everyone else is barely trying or actively bad. Also featured: an ancient aztec warrior with a back tattoo! Must see.
