Lamar I I admit it. I am a sap sometimes. I found the beginning of the story line somewhat unique, and they are really good-looking, so I watched it enjoying the self-discovery process and the expected consequences from his personal actions. But switching to too much Spanish without subtitles really threw me off it. 3 years of middle school Spanish and HS freshman year and "yo hablo espanol un poquito",..and I do not speak it. I was losing track of the details in the dialogue. At first, I was annoyed slightly. Then, Google Play store to download the 4.7 rated realtime translator. It helped but I only got maybe 20% translated that way; too short of memory. Executive Producer guy, use subtitles when the rest of the movie was in English. This, with non-subtitles and no CC option on tubi, at least, I ended up not watching the very end. Rated 2/5 Stars •  Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/25 Full Review Bart C Total crap! But so much of the storyline here seems forced and contrived - capturing the very opposite of the openness and joy the film professes to embrace. Only one of the four main characters convinced me that he had capacity to be a great actor. There's much truth about the nature of love - being a blessing, forgiveness, and ever hopeful. The many sex scenes though seemed half-baked inasmuch as one partner was invariably feeling uncertain. The film attempts to integrate the history and culture of a small Mexican town into the spirit it professes to be grand. Overall, for me at least, this was all just too much.
