Love is the comfort, beauty and bliss you find even in the most mundane things with one another. What does love mean to an old soul? What does love mean to a troubled soul? What does love mean to a soul which knows nothing but how to love? The story is set in the premises of a hospital where all the characters cross paths while waiting in the ward for their beloveds to undergo a surgery or attain recovery. As the days melt into weeks into months, the characters go through their own share of joys and bereavements. From Joju George's Sabu, a man hopelessly in love with Chithra, brought to life and colour by Shruti Ramachandran to Arjun Ashokan's Kevin and Nikhila Vimal's Cherry covers people on two sides of the spectrum of love. Boundless – or questioning? Blind – or skeptical? Life gives everyone lemons, and love is what makes the lemonade, the most humane thing to do. The acting is miraculous, it makes you fall in love with each and every character. It makes you laugh with them and weep with them. It makes you sad that you cannot witness more of their beautiful story. The cinematography cries in melancholic beauty. A perfect creation to portray love as it is; life as it is.
