Elijah is a hurt little boy turned slasher that puts scalps on his restored mannequins. An attempt is made to give some understanding for the poor guy, but it's mostly just deranged killing.

Not a patch on the original. Honestly I HATED the overly artsy feel they gave this one and the POV camera angles got old fast. The original bad me captivated and immersed. With this one I was just bored and wanted it to end. It's a shame too, since Elijah Wood is a genuinely great actor. But he just failed to capture the same vibes that the original movie had, not to mention the awful CGI gore and blood effects that looked terrible.
