In a world where so many mainstream movies seem hellbent on going as fast as possible and rarely take their foot off the accelerator, it’s refreshing to find a little indie movie like Maybe Forever where the pace is dialled right back. We drop into the slow, languid pace almost immediately and take a journey into the love story of Sofia and Greg (played by real-life husband and wife team George and Ruby Capacete, who also deliver the direction and screenplay). This is a gentle, delicate piece like an acoustic song in a minor key, or a soap bubble catching the light. A meditation on relationships; simple, understated and quietly beautiful (and Los Angeles has never looked more welcoming). Very much worth your time.

I just watched the movie MAYBE FOREVER starring a fabulous husband and wife duo of Ruby and George Capacete!
The movie has a lot of strong scenes. It also has very interesting to watch characters.
The movie is also directed by Ruby and George Capacete. It was a very fresh take on a romantic story.
This movie was shot in a very creative stylistic way. It’s a heart-warming indie rom com! Love it! The storyline pulls you in many directions as you're watching this movie.
This is a romantic ride portrayed on screen that is great for date night. I thought all the lead actors had great onscreen chemistry– so good together. The sets and scenes are great. Check this movie out! You’ll remember it!

Maybe Forever (2024) is a tender, introspective indie romance that invites viewers into the quiet magic of a single day shared between two people falling in love. Written, directed, and performed by real-life couple George and Ruby Capacete, the film follows Sofia and Greg as they wander through Los Angeles, engaging in heartfelt conversations and savoring the small moments that define their connection. With its minimalist style and poetic pacing, the film has drawn comparisons to Jim Jarmusch’s Paterson and Richard Linklater’s Before Sunset. Critics have praised its authenticity and emotional honesty, noting that it offers a refreshing portrayal of love without the typical conflicts and drama . At just 71 minutes, Maybe Forever is a gentle, soulful experience for those who appreciate the beauty in everyday intima

Showcasing multiple scenic locations in the City of Angeles, I love the gentle pace of this delightful gem. From the opening sequence, the filmmakers let you know this film is not like any other.
Exquisite string guitar playing lovely melodies and setting the tone, this genuinely affecting film remind me to slow down and smell the roses. A simple yet gorgeous story portraying a couple deeply in love, every touch, every kiss, every caress, is tantalizing and romantic.
Ruby Capacete who produced the film, plays Sofia and is luminous. George Capacete, who plays Greg and wrote and directed the film, is charming and communicated the genuine love and affection two people feel for each other in a refreshing and poetic manner. Both Capacetes shine in their respective roles, and I found myself rooting for Sofia and Greg and the idea of living a simple but deeply fulfilling life. I very much enjoyed "Maybe Forever", and highly recommend this beautiful, sexy film to anyone who believes in love and the idea of finding your soul mate.
