No idea why the serious and negative reviews?, it's a STORY, fiction, lighten up. Thea Sharrock did good here, stellar cast all excels in character. Cinematography is amazing, very well written and executed. Enough feeling of a very uncomfortable subject is created with emotion tangible. Great movie and worth more than one viewing

Me Before You is a film that explores complex themes of love, loss, and the choices we make in life, but it doesn't fully capture the emotional depth it strives for. The story centers on Louisa Clark, a quirky and upbeat woman, who becomes the caregiver for Will Traynor, a man left paralyzed after an accident. The chemistry between the leads, Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin, is palpable, but the narrative often feels predictable, with its emotional beats being too obvious at times.
While the film's intention is to make us reflect on life and death, it sometimes takes a heavy-handed approach to the subject matter. The tone can be melodramatic, and it doesn鈥檛 quite hit the emotional highs it aims for. Still, there are moments of sincerity and tenderness that resonate, especially with the performances. It鈥檚 an emotionally charged film, but whether it鈥檚 moving or manipulative can depend on your perspective.
In short, Me Before You is a film that has good intentions but doesn't entirely deliver on its potential. It鈥檚 decent, but not groundbreaking.

Hmm, I didn鈥檛 know you could end your life like that, but Me Before You was a good movie, and I loved Emilia Clarke鈥檚 heartfelt acting. 7/10.

This is a beautiful movie. I've watched it before, ages ago, and decided to rewatch it. This is one of those movies that get better the more you watch it. It will invoke great emotions out of you. Make you laugh, make you cry, and leave a gut wrenching, but warm feeling with you. I love this movie, and I feel as though everybody should watch this at least once. Great acting, great storyline, and great directing. 10/10

I saw this movie, when it first came out on DVD. My grandma had bought it, me and all the girls in my family watched it together for a slumber party. By the end of the movie, we were all drenched in tears. I, who happens to be a hopeless romantic, am giving this movie 5 stars. When you look past the blatant hypocrisy of people who wrote bad reviews on this movie, you鈥檒l find that movies are just movies; fiction. Yes, based on true problems with real people in the real world, this movie is fiction. And if you look past what you deem as 鈥渙ffensive鈥� or 鈥渃alamitous鈥� I know you鈥檒l see this movie as beautiful, eye-opening, and downright hilarious. A woman, who is kind, generous and brave, meets a man who used to have the world in his hands, and his entire life was stripped from him. He was insecure, rude, and arrogant. Then She comes into his life, and despite his look, or the fact he was in a wheelchair, she fell in love with him. She looked past his insecurities, and found her own reasons why she loved him. This movie is my favorite of all time, and I wish I could rewatch it for the first time again. Truly, truly a masterpiece.
