Mile 22 Reviews
This movie is just unbelievable and unlikable. Very confusing story which is hard to follow. Character motivations are all over the place and the characters are annoying.
Act I is really confusing - like nmo idea of what the stakes are and what is on the disc - and why and what are the doing. I did not like the arrogant lead protagonist and the female agent is just not cool. Hard to watch and not really real.
Meh. Very violent and lots of action but hard to tell what's going on. Some great fighting moves but camera is moving so much it's hard to see what exactly is happening. Rather forgettable in the end... and be sure to turn your brain off.
Lots of action and suspense. I like Mark Wahlberg in this movie.
What a bunch of jerk characters. Unwatchable. And lighting guys, great job but… too much perfect lighting removes the reality.
Special Effects: 1,0/Sound Effects: 1,0/Acting: 0,5/Story: 0,5
Confusing film with a lot of really unbelievable fight/shooting scenes. Very unlikeable characters plus John Malkovic wearing a ludicrous wig.
High octane , action packed blast of a movie. The plot is good and not over cooked like it can be in a lot of these action movies. There is hardly a moment in the film without action. The action is well shot and easy to follow. The surprise ending is very good and I hope they get another movie
What the hell was going on? I have no bloody idea. Sat through the first 30mins which seemed like a lifetime. Confusing, poorly directed and a lot of swearing.
High octane action, really intense film. The plot was great too.
I really liked the characters and actions of the actors
every minute not bored
If you love actions you watch it
Now only in 2024 saw this movie. Loved Mile 22, but as seen with the other reviews it comes down to an intellectual audience. Having a psychology degree myself, the storyline is superbly psychological and intense. Peter Berg's directory was actually very fitting: fast, unusually diabolical and chaotic; just like the mind would react in a trauma situation. Mark Wahlberg did great acting. I really enjoyed this movie!
Great action popcorn flick, I mainly saw this because of iko uwais, who starred in raid 1 and 2
It's a solid movie with really good dialogue and fight scenes I just think they could've written a better ending.
A team that has access to all the tech in the world cannot get hold of a helicopter. Stupid film.
Basically an outright disaster of filmmaking, Besides the few and far between Iko fight scenes. The editing and narrative is nauseating.
Where to begin with this monstrosity of a film. There's only one good action scene but besides that this movie is one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. Mark Walbherg is incredibly annoying with his stupid rubber band and his excessive shouting and everyone in this had potty mouths and kept swearing every single 10 seconds. The Violence In this is absolutely disgusting and if anyone sees this, do not watch this movie.
Much better than the critics condescend to express. It works as an easy watch thriller which has a twist that isn't quite expected even though there is a you-know-what-they-don't-know parallel thread running. And yes it's about a bunch of neuro divergent ghost operatives, so moods swings, fast sentences that bang together, bipolar behaviour are all badges worn for the show, and whether that was effectively authentic or not I don't know, but I went with it, and to hear some complain they couldn't follow it baffles me. It's a study in confusion, stop being clever! Give it a go, honestly. I don't go above 3 stars except for really standout movies...
