Wealthy Julie Ferris (Gloria Shea) falls in love with driver Ken McKay (Wallace Ford) after impulsively getting involved in a hijacking attempt on his truck carrying auto parts. Despite disapproval from her family, Julie marries Ken soon after. While Julie battles Ken's boorish neighbor and boss, Herbert Green (Edgar Kennedy), delivery trucks continue to be hijacked.
