A very funny film. Will Ferrell and Chris Kayan were great. It had several actors from Saturday Night Live. I enjoyed the scenes when they went to the nightclubs. Their dancing was funny too.

While A Night at the Roxbury was initially conceived as a goofy SNL sketch, some audiences find the film unnecessary and overly silly. However, some audiences, like myself for instance, perceive a profound sense of love and laughter that I would deeply resonate with, given my shared experiences with the characters in the film. Grading: B-

Loved this movie. Worth watching, its very over the top but its definitely a movie they are just taking a swing at it. the music is great. The acting is basically improve with the two leads and its fun. And the plot / premise is basically a skit in 90s snl. Worth watching and one of the most memorable comedies.

Lorne Michaels: "Wayne's World sold. Do it again but they like Techno." Chris Kattan is cringe worthy. Ferrell does the best with what he's given but even he can be hit or miss at the best of times and in this one, he's a miss. Not a classic at all. I want whatever these reviewers are smoking.

An early Will Ferrell classic. you could not get away making a movie like this in 2024. but for Gen X watchers great sound track spanning late 70s to 90s and cool movie and 온라인카지노추천 allusions. Plot line delightfully juvenile and presages that cinematic classic Step Brothers but of course these guys are blood brothers. Some amazing party scenes and well pitched cameos. Tear jerker at the end but won’t spoil it. A movie for the ages especially for man child nation. As with most Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler movies if you see an abysmal critic rating you are guaranteed some comedic low brow delights to keep you guffawing guiltily at your own idiocy.

This movie was the backbone of my high school days with lots of go to quotes. It's got a great original story line, Chris Kattan makes this movie soundtrack one of the best. It's one of my top favs.

One to file under: 'Better than it had any right to be'. For the most part whilst watching, I felt quite nonplussed by everything about 'A Night at the Roxbury' - it was neither pleasing or annoying me. By its conclusion, however, I actually felt like I enjoyed it. I feel like I should've disliked it, but the opposite is more true to be honest. Some of the humour lands, some of it doesn't - those dancing head nods, for example, are amusing, but the film seriously overuses it. I assume that's a carryover from the 'Saturday Night Live' sketch that this is based upon. Haddaway's 'What Is Love' is also overplayed throughout, though with that I actually felt the use was fitting - the music overall is good, to be fair. Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan make for a positive pairing, with Ferrell narrowly being the standout of the two - as you'd expect, I guess. Molly Shannon does well, as do Dan Hedaya and Richard Grieco. There are also a few interesting minor cast members, from Michael Clarke Duncan to Eva Mendes to Jennifer Coolidge. Just about 7/10, but 7/10 all the same.

Carried solely by the Butabi brothers, with a paper thin plot that is woefully non-existent, it is still able to entertain... mostly because of the settings and over-the-top mannerisms of Doug and Steve Butabi. I do see why critics hated it, it was one of the most plotless movies I've ever seen, but it's unoffensive.
